Bosch Smart System Tuning
The E-bike tuning Bosch Smart System Overview: Here you will find tuning tools specifically for Bosch Gen4 Smart System (BES3) E-bike drive systems (“BES3” stands for “Bosch Development Stage 3”).
At the Bosch Smart System (from 2022) is a new system, initially consisting of a Performance Motor, a PowerTube 750 Wh battery, the LED Remote, the eBike Flow app, and, above all, the new Kiox 300 on-board computer. The notable difference from previous Bosch e-bike drive systems is the focus on smart connectivity. Additional components were added later.
Currently, one can see that Bosch Smart System BES3 is still clearly connected to the "eBike Flow App". If your e-bike does not work with the "eBike Flow App", please check whether your e-bike is not a Bosch Gen4 engine (BES2) has. Although the new Smart System on the already known Performance Motor, however, the motor connections have changed completely (hence BES3). There are also differences in firmware compared to previous Bosch drives. For these reasons, the previous tuning solutions are incompatible. However, a separate solution is available for the Bosch rim magnet necessary.
Important: The fewest error messages so far have been reported by the RedPed Chip, the MTT solutions (including the Splug and SmartChip) and VOLspeed But the Peartune 4 modules also generate very few errors.
