With the MTC Set 8 you can finally use the full potential of your e-scooter. Simply swap the original controller of your StreetBooster Sirius for the MountainTuning Controller off, and there is no longer a 20 km/h speed limit. So you can up to 31 km / h ride fast with full motor support.
In addition, the tuning set offers numerous additional options that allow you to customize the handling of your StreetBooster Sirius e-scooter even better to your personal needs. For example, acceleration and braking can be adjusted electronically. The tuning is conveniently controlled via the practical UniScooter App.

MTC Set 8 – The advantages at a glance
-Speed limit is lifted: The tuning allows speeds of up to 31 km/h to be achieved (of course always depending on external factors such as payload, gradient angle, etc.).
-Cruise Control: When the cruise control function is activated, the e-scooter maintains its current speed. This is a real relief, especially on long, steady rides.
-Zerostart adjustable: This optional direct start feature allows you to start the e-scooter without having to push it first. Simply pressing the throttle is enough.
-Speed steps can be individually adjusted.

Please note:
-In principle, it is sufficient if you install the MountainTuning Controllers only the UniScooter App Not only can you configure the tuning settings via the app, you can also display all relevant driving data (e.g. current speed & battery level) and control the scooter's settings (lights, etc.).
The original StreetBooster App can still be used, but it is not suitable for controlling tuning.
-To install the tuning, the original StreetBooster Sirius Controller must be replaced by the more powerful MountainTuning Controllers can be replaced. No special technical skills are required.
You can reinstall the original controller at any time if you ever want to restore the e-scooter to its original condition.

Tools
To install an E-Bike tuning chip in your E-Bike it is sometimes special tools necessary. Please check previously whether you have to open the engine compartment to access the motor connectors. This is especially true for products from the Modules, Kit, Dongle and Sensor.
Normally (but not always) opening the engine compartment requires loosening the crank. To do this, you will need a Crank puller. Some engines also have a Spider Tool This is important for opening the lock ring on the chainring - because the chainring must be loosened here so that the motor cover can be removed to access the inside of the motor. If you want to replace the chainring (wear, change the gear ratio), you often need a Spider Tool. The necessary special tools can also be found in our shop. To remove the engine cover, you usually need a Torx or Allen key. For installing the modules, appropriate Pliers from the electronics sector.
Do you decide not availabe for a tuning solution that you have to install in the engine compartment (Box, Software), there is no need for any tools. In our Guide you will find further tips.

Important information on tuning measures for e-bikes and e-scooters
We expressly point out that any modification to e-bikes and e-scooters – whether through hardware tuning (e.g. tuning chips, dongles, sensor adapters) or software tuning (e.g. apps, programs or USB tools) – can have consequences.
Tuning measures on e-bikes and e-scooters mean that they are no longer permitted for use on public roads as defined by the StVZO (Road Traffic Licensing Regulations). Legal use is therefore only possible on private property or - if permitted - in competitions. Riding an e-bike or e-scooter modified by tuning measures on public roads can lead to criminal liability for driving without a license (Section 21 of the Road Traffic Act) and driving without insurance (Section 6 of the PflVG). Tuning measures on e-bikes can lead to the loss of warranty rights and manufacturer guarantees. Furthermore, tuning measures can lead to the loss of insurance coverage and benefits from accident victim assistance in the event of an accident. The e-bike (or e-scooter) modified by tuning measures is subject to additional stress due to the higher speed, which can lead to safety risks.

Shipping costs for Germany are €4,90; shipping is waived for orders over €180. For countries within the EU, shipping costs are €12,90; shipping is waived for orders over €2.000. We currently do not ship to countries outside the EU. We also do not ship to the USA, France, or Canada (including any overseas territories). We ask that you bear the costs of any return shipments yourself. Please note that customs duties may apply in countries outside the European Union.
