MTC Set 7: MountainTuning Controller and display for ePowerFun ePF PULSE+
Exclusive ePF PULSE+ tuning set especially for the top model among the ePowerFun E-scooters. This set unlocks the powerful 30A drive of the PULSE+ e-scooter, allowing you to ride with more power!

This tuning set removes the speed limit so you can finally fully enjoy the power of your ePF PULSE+ e-scooter.
You can easily adjust the tuning via the Uniscooter app Other highlights of the MTC Sets include the Zero start and Cruise Control Features.

The MTC Set 7 consists of 3 elements:

During installation, the original controller and display of your ePF Pulse+ e-scooter must be replaced with the new elements.
Note: This is the original Mountain Tuning Set that also includes the original Hobbywing controller. Other sets with controllers from other manufacturers could irreparably damage your ePF PULSE+ e-scooter!
UNI Scooter App (available for Apple & Android)
If you use this tuning set to optimize your e-scooter, you need to ePowerFun App the free UNI Scooter App If you still need the ePowerFun If you use the app, this could irreversibly destroy the tuning function, as the ePF app overwrites the software on the display. So after the renovation the ePowerFun Stop using the app!
Here are the advantages of the UNI Scooter app:
-Three different driving modes adjustable: Use the UNI Scooter app to choose from 3 different riding modes: Mode 1 Push assistance with 5 km/h, Mode 2 ECO Mode with 20(22) km/h and reduced power, Mode 3 with full power and max speed up to 33 km/h.
Note: The driving modes can be set not only via the app, but also via the on/off button on the Pulse+.
-Cruise control function: Use the UNI Scooter app to activate the practical cruise control function. When cruise control is activated, the scooter maintains its current speed—this makes for a very relaxing riding experience, especially on longer, steady journeys.
-Key card: The existing card can (and must) be easily re-programmed. To do so, turn on the scooter, unlock it (if cards have already been programmed), and press the power button five times in succession. You will hear a confirmation tone, and the "Add" symbol will appear on the display. Please hold the card near the bottom of the display. You will hear another confirmation tone.

After installing the tuning set, please only use the UNI Scooter app. Should you ePowerFun If you use the app anyway, the tuning may be destroyed. This process cannot be reversed. In this case, we cannot take back Tuning Set 7, and you will need to purchase a new one.
Installation
The MTC Set 7 includes a MountainTuning Controller and a display with Bluetooth module (to connect to the UNI Scooter app).
During installation, the original controller of the e-scooter must be removed and replaced with the new controller. To do this, you must first unscrew the base plate of the ePF-Pulse+ e-scooter and remove the existing controller. Then, you must replace the Mountain Tuning Insert the controller and screw it in. You also have to replace the old display with the new one. MountainTuning Replace display.
This isn't difficult and, with a little patience and skill, can easily be done by yourself. Detailed instructions with illustrations follow.
Note: After installing the tuning, the key card may no longer function. In this case, the key card must be re-programmed or registered. To do so, press the "Start" button 5 times while the system is switched on, then hold the key card against the lower part of the display (see this YouTube explainer video).
If this does not work, the small copper coil was installed incorrectly or damaged during installation.
Compatibility
The MTC Set 7: MountainTuning Controller and display for ePowerFun ePF PULSE+ is only compatible with ePowerFun ePF-Pulse+ e-scooters.
Important: With the MTC Set 7, the maximum speed of your ePF-PULSE+ e-scooter can be manipulated. This will invalidate your e-scooter's operating license in Germany. However, you can use the tuning tool in regions where higher maximum speeds are permitted, for example, on private property or in areas where road traffic regulations do not apply. In Germany, according to the Small Electric Vehicles Ordinance, a maximum speed of 20 km/h applies to e-scooters. However, higher speeds are permitted in some other countries – please always observe the local laws in each country.

Tools
To install an E-Bike tuning chip in your E-Bike it is sometimes special tools necessary. Please check previously whether you have to open the engine compartment to access the motor connectors. This is especially true for products from the Modules, Kit, Dongle and Sensor.
Normally (but not always) opening the engine compartment requires loosening the crank. To do this, you will need a Crank puller. Some engines also have a Spider Tool This is important for opening the lock ring on the chainring - because the chainring must be loosened here so that the motor cover can be removed to access the inside of the motor. If you want to replace the chainring (wear, change the gear ratio), you often need a Spider Tool. The necessary special tools can also be found in our shop. To remove the engine cover, you usually need a Torx or Allen key. For installing the modules, appropriate Pliers from the electronics sector.
Do you decide not availabe for a tuning solution that you have to install in the engine compartment (Box, Software), there is no need for any tools. In our Guide you will find further tips.

Important information on tuning measures for e-bikes and e-scooters
We expressly point out that any modification to e-bikes and e-scooters – whether through hardware tuning (e.g. tuning chips, dongles, sensor adapters) or software tuning (e.g. apps, programs or USB tools) – can have consequences.
Tuning measures on e-bikes and e-scooters mean that they are no longer permitted for use on public roads as defined by the StVZO (Road Traffic Licensing Regulations). Legal use is therefore only possible on private property or - if permitted - in competitions. Riding an e-bike or e-scooter modified by tuning measures on public roads can lead to criminal liability for driving without a license (Section 21 of the Road Traffic Act) and driving without insurance (Section 6 of the PflVG). Tuning measures on e-bikes can lead to the loss of warranty rights and manufacturer guarantees. Furthermore, tuning measures can lead to the loss of insurance coverage and benefits from accident victim assistance in the event of an accident. The e-bike (or e-scooter) modified by tuning measures is subject to additional stress due to the higher speed, which can lead to safety risks.

Delivery takes 1-3 business days within Germany. In exceptional cases, it can take up to 8 business days. Delivery times outside Germany may take longer. Please understand that due to high demand, some products may experience longer delivery times.

Shipping:
Shipping costs for Germany are €4,90; shipping is waived for orders over €180. For countries within the EU, shipping costs are €12,90; shipping is waived for orders over €2.000. We currently do not ship to countries outside the EU. We also do not ship to the USA, France, or Canada (including any overseas territories). We ask that you bear the costs of any return shipments yourself. Please note that customs duties may apply in countries outside the European Union.
Minimum order value:
The minimum order value is €25. Only above this amount are advance payment, PayPal, and bank transfer available as payment methods.
Maximum order value:
The maximum order value for orders outside the EU is €1.000. The maximum order value within the EU is €12.500.
Payment in advance via bank transfer:
Please transfer the total amount, including your order number, to our account, which was communicated to you in the confirmation email. Please note that transfers within Germany can take up to three business days. Transfers from abroad, especially from Austria, usually reach us very quickly. Transfers from other countries can take slightly longer on average.

At the end of the ordering process, you will be redirected to the PayPal page. There you can initiate your payment. Once the PayPal transaction is complete, your order status will change in the shop. The goods will then be shipped as soon as possible.
