With browser-based unlock keys, you can remove the 25 km/h speed limit on your Bosch e-bike – without a traditional chip, without motor modification, and without software installation. Simply connect your e-bike to your PC, Mac, or Android smartphone via USB and unlock it directly in your browser using your personal license key.

1) Classic / Gen2–4 → EBT Unlock Key (Bosch Gen1–Gen4 / BES1 & BES2)
The EBT Unlock Key is the suitable software-based solution for Bosch e-bikes of generations 1 to 4 on BES1- and BES2-Basic. Excluded are Gen1 systems with HMI display and the Bosch Smart System. Activation is done directly in the browser via USB, is permanently usable, and can be reset at any time. Depending on the bike, motor, and system configuration, support levels of up to 45 km/h are possible. With Bosch Gen2 to Gen4, the display behavior differs due to system limitations, while Bosch Gen1 with Intuvia functions correctly.

2) Smart System → EBTsmart Unlock Key → up to 32 km/h with correct values, optionally up to 45 km/h (Bosch Smart System / BES3)
For Bosch e-bikes with Smart System is the EBTsmart Unlock Key The convenient browser-based solution – no additional hardware, no chip, and no software installation required. Activation is done via USB data cable using a PC, Mac, or Android smartphone. By default, the motor assistance can be increased up to 32 km/h; speed, distance, and mileage remain correctly displayed. The motor assistance can also be optionally set up to 45 km/h. In this mode, however, the values ​​are no longer displayed correctly above approximately 22 km/h; this 45 km/h function is not available for e-bikes with ABS. The EBTsmart Unlock Key is equipped with Bosch Smart System with and without rim magnet compatible, permanently usable and resettable at any time.

3) Smart System + Wheel magnet → EBTsmart Unlock Key Switch → up to 45 km/h (Bosch Smart System / BES3)
