How to unlock your Bosch e-bike with the EBT Unlock Key (Instructions):

A. Buy a license

Choose the right package:

• 1 license for a single e-bike
• 2 licenses for several bikes or friends
• 4 licenses for families, bike groups or workshops

After purchase you will receive your personal activation code via email.

B. Check email

You get:

• A personal 25-digit license key
• The link to the EBT Unlock Key platform

C. Preparation

You need:

• Windows PC or laptop with browser (macOS not supported)
• Standard USB-A to Micro USB or USB-C cable (depending on the Bosch display)
• A stable internet connection
• A Bosch e-bike with a BES1 or BES2 connection (see table above)

D. Connect and unlock e-bike

Connect your display (e.g., Intuvia, Purion, Kiox, Nyon) to your PC via USB cable. Make sure the display and e-bike are turned on. Functionality and reset

• The EBT Unlock Key Increases the factory speed limit of your Bosch E-Bike (Gen1–4, without Smart System) on.
• The activation is permanently active, but can be reversed by running the tool again with the option deactivated.
• After deactivation, the e-bike is technically back to its original state – including active limitation.
