But the "RedPed - E-Bike Tuning App" combines all apps for the E-Bike Tuning Modules RedPed, BluePed and GreenPed in an application.
But the "RedPed - E-Bike Tuning App" is used to control the RedPed E-bike tuning modules via a secure Bluetooth connection. Basic functions include individually setting the maximum assisted speed or even limiting the maximum speed. Different speedometer views on the smartphone are another outstanding feature of the app. It's important to note that using the app and Bluetooth are not mandatory for the module to function in the engine compartment. Once the settings are configured, the smartphone can be put away – meaning you don't have to take it with you on every ride. The tuning can also be turned on and off using the e-bike's control buttons (exception: RedPed for Bosch Smart System). One advantage of the app is that the screen can be adjusted while driving, depending on your preferred settings. Demos and instructions are conveniently located within the app. Please note: For the Android app, default location sharing must always be enabled!
In fact, RedPed the most comprehensive tool that can be controlled with a smartphone app! No other e-bike tuning product offers as many adjustment options as the RedPed Module.
Brand new: Firmware updates
The latest versions of the RedPed Modules for Bosch Smart The system and Shimano can be updated via a smartphone app if new firmware for the tuning chip is available. Updating a tuning chip via a smartphone app is an absolute world first!
The RedPed App for Android is now available in a new version, called "RedPed 2".
Start: After launching, the app scans for available modules nearby. If a module is found, the name, UUID, module, and firmware version are displayed. If a module's signal is no longer received, it is removed from the list. The dBm value indicates the signal strength. Each module has a unique UUID. You can now select the module you want to control from the list of available modules. Demos and instructions can also be found in the app!
Make many e-bike tuning settings!
The basic features include the following settings: Setting the maximum speed to a custom value, setting the wheel circumference, setting Bluetooth visibility, defining the activation code, naming the app, either sharing the speed or freezing it, activating GPS, recording rides, exporting or deleting rides. RedPed (except for Shimano engines),
BluePed and GreenPed Correct values are shown on the e-bike display and on the smartphone (when RedPed for Bosch Smart system, the real speed remains readable as a decimal number). With the very latest RedPed Tunings for Shimano the real speed is also displayed as a decimal number (RedPed 2s for Shimano E-Series, RedPed 2s for Shimano EP8, RedPed for Shimano EP801 and EP6).
Important: Each module may display different values and offer different setting options (depending on the design, the e-bike motor used and the respective operating system of the app).

View: In principle, you can use your smartphone while riding, as long as it is attached to the handlebar. RedPed The app has almost unlimited, individually definable speedometer settings: You can easily define the screen according to your individual preferences (e.g. displayed values and colors).
Tip: You can also leave the smartphone at home and switch the built-in module on and off with a predefined activation and deactivation code (only the RedpedPed for Bosch Smart System can only be activated via app)!
