Under the name of sIMPLEk Various tuning modules and dongles ("sticks") are offered, which are unusual in some respects. First of all, it must be said that the original sIMPLEk Tuning tools were delivered in the form of kits for self-assembly. Since the assembly required the use of a soldering iron, a little bit of handicraft was required, but these tuning solutions were (and still are) extremely inexpensive. Meanwhile, however, there are both the sIMPLEk Both the modules and the dongles in the slightly more expensive "Pro" versions are available as ready-made products. These no longer require assembly; they can be attached directly to the e-bike.

Both with the permanently installed sIMPLEk modules as well as with the pluggable sIMPLEk Dongles allow you to completely remove the 25 km/h speed limit. The tools are available for e-bikes of various brands, e.g., Bosch, Yamaha, Shimano, etc. sIMPLEk By the way, the Stick was the first tuning dongle where the correct speed could be read on the display!

The sIMPLEk Stick can be activated / deactivated at any time by simply plugging or unplugging the stick after installing the corresponding cable set. sIMPLEk The module, on the other hand, is installed in the engine housing and can be activated using certain key sequences when starting up the bike.

With both tuning tools (module and stick), the current speed is displayed correctly, but via the second digit of the display and the decimal place - a display of 13,5 km/h would then correspond to 35 km/h in reality, etc.

A real highlight is the sIMPLEk ECOplus Stick – this is an innovative tuning tool, the likes of which has never been seen before. The ECOplus Stick does NOT increase the maximum motor-assisted speed, but rather extends the range of the e-bike by up to 20 percent! This works by gradually reducing the motor assistance while maintaining a constant speed. sIMPLEk Products are Made in Germany.

Three different sIMPLEk Solutions

1) Kits: sIMPLEk module

The sIMPLEk Tuning kit we have for Bosch e-bike drives (Classic, Active, Performance Line, CX), Impulse (Kit with plug coupling, Kit without plug coupling), Yamaha , and for Bafang Mid Drive in the program. They all completely abolish the speed limit. Attention: This requires manual skills. 

2) sIMPLEk Stick

The sIMPLEk Stick is the first dongle with correct speed on the e-bike display. It is available for Bosch drives (Classic, Active, Performance Line, CX), as well as for Yamaha (PW, PW-SE, PW-X) and Brose Engines. The solutions completely remove the speed limit.

3) sIMPLEk Stick ECOplus

The sIMPLEk Stick ECOplus works differently: This tool maximizes the range by gradually reducing the motor support while maintaining a constant speed. This maximizes the range by up to 20%. The speed limit is not changed. The ECOplus dongle is available for Bosch drives (Classic, Active, Performance Line, CX), as well as for Yamaha (PW, PW-SE, PW-X) and Brose Engines.

If you don’t feel like sIMPLEk If you want to assemble the dongle yourself, we recommend the new Pro version. The dongle comes fully assembled, so you can connect it directly to your e-bike. Otherwise, the Pro version has all the advantages you already have with the original sIMPLEk Stick knew: The speed limit is completely removed, and installation is very simple. The actual speed remains readable, albeit via the second digit and the decimal place of the speedometer. Since it's a dongle with a USB connection, the tuning-relevant hardware can be removed within seconds.

sIMPLEk Pro – The sIMPLEk Module as a finished product

The popular one sIMPLEk The tuning module is now also available as a finished product – so you don't have to assemble the "Pro" version yourself before connecting the module to the engine. Otherwise, everything remains the same as the original. sIMPLEk Module: The speed limit is completely removed, and after simple installation, the module is no longer visible from the outside. The actual speed remains readable, albeit via the second digit and the decimal place of the speedometer.

Available for the following e-bike drives: Bosch (Classic, Active, Performance Line, CX, CX 2020), Bafang, Yamaha (PW-PW-SE, PW-X, GIANT SyncDrive), Brose, Impulse (2.0, EVO, EVO RS) & Shimano steps (E5000, E6100, E7000, E8000) and for Shimano EP8 with Di2 shifting.

New: The sIMPLEk Pro for Bosch - Nano Edition combines the Default- familiar with the Stealth edition (from Stealth mode serves to avoid error messages and tuning detection; it can be activated or deactivated at any time via the menu).


sIMPLEk Pro for Bosch Smart System 2022 (BES3)

This is new sIMPLEk Pro for Bosch Smart System 2022 (BES3)However, only small editions have been produced so far, and all of them sold out quite quickly. This module is also available in a so-called Stealth edition, where the maximum speed was limited to 37,5 km/h - this has the advantage that the probability of error messages is extremely low.

Also recommended is the sIMPLEk Pro for Bosch Gen4 Smart System - Nano Edition, in the Standard Version of the module with the Stealth edition is combined. The Stealth mode can then be activated/deactivated at any time via the menu.

Brand new is the "sIMPLEk Stick Pro: Bosch Smart System Tuning Dongle" - one of the very few dongle solutions for Bosch Smart System E-Bikes. Dongles have the fundamental advantage that all tuning-relevant parts can be easily removed from the bike within seconds.

At all sIMPLEk Tuning tools for Bosch Smart System Drives the real speed remains readable, albeit via the second digit and the decimal place of the speedometer.
