VOLspeed - A versatile tuning module with original features
Under the name of VOLspeed Tuning modules for Yamaha Powerdrive, Giant Syncdrive and Bosch (Gen2, Gen3 & Gen4) e-bikes. The great feature of these tuning tools is that the tuning settings can be easily customized using the control buttons on the e-bike display – without the need for a PC or smartphone. For example, you have the option of increasing the maximum motor support to a value of your choosing; the 25 km/h speed limit is removed. VOLspeed For Bosch, there's also the option to specifically optimize to 32 km/h (Bosch Gen4 error limit). Another original feature is the option to set a so-called "Dynamic Mode" – this mode mitigates the unpleasant "wall effect," which refers to the abrupt cessation of motor support when reaching the maximum assisted speed. This leads to a significantly improved riding experience. Furthermore, the tuning can be switched on or off at any time via the e-bike display. Pluspoint: Even with active tuning, the correct speed is shown on the display. As you can see, the VOLspeed Tuning chips are extremely versatile tuning modules with which you can optimize the riding characteristics of your Bosch or Yamaha e-bike in a variety of ways.
Like other tuning modules, the VOLspeed The tuning module can be attached to the engine. This is done completely non-destructively; no cables need to be modified or destroyed. According to the manufacturer, installation should take no longer than 15 minutes. Once installed, the tool is no longer visible from the outside, as is the case with other tuning modules and chips.
