4 EBTsmart Unlock Keys for Bosch Smart System: This package contains four digital license codes to unlock compatible Bosch Smart System E-bikes. Depending on the selected setting, the motor assistance can be optionally adjusted to up to 32 km / h or up to 45 km / h expand - without additional hardware. In 32 km/h mode stay Speedometer, distance and mileage readings are correct.
The EBTsmart Unlock Key is the digital solution for everyone who needs multiple compatible devices Bosch Smart Want to unlock the system for e-bikes – for example, for family, fleet use, workshop environments, or multiple personal bikes? Activation is done directly via the browser, meaning no traditional software installation, no motor modifications, and no additional components are required. All you need is a PC, Mac or Android smartphone with browser as well as a suitable USB data cable.
Activation takes place online via our platform and is available for Bosch Smart System designed – depending on the specific version with or without rim magnet.

Please a genuine USB data cable use, not just a charging cable.

Note on usage
This tuning product is exclusively for use on Private property or for testing purposes with one Bosch e-mountain bike Intended for use on public roads. Use on public roads is not permitted. Further warnings can be found [here/below/etc.]. here.
To install an E-Bike tuning chip in your E-Bike it is sometimes special tools necessary. Please check previously whether you have to open the engine compartment to access the motor connectors. This is especially true for products from the Modules, Kit, Dongle and Sensor.
Normally (but not always) opening the engine compartment requires loosening the crank. To do this, you will need a Crank puller. Some engines also have a Spider Tool This is important for opening the lock ring on the chainring - because the chainring must be loosened here so that the motor cover can be removed to access the inside of the motor. If you want to replace the chainring (wear, change the gear ratio), you often need a Spider Tool. The necessary special tools can also be found in our shop. To remove the engine cover, you usually need a Torx or Allen key. For installing the modules, appropriate Pliers from the electronics sector.
Do you decide not for a tuning solution that you have to install in the engine compartment (Box, Software), there is no need for any tools. In our Guide you will find further tips.

Important information on tuning measures for e-bikes and e-scooters
We expressly point out that any modification to e-bikes and e-scooters – whether through hardware tuning (e.g. tuning chips, dongles, sensor adapters) or software tuning (e.g. apps, programs or USB tools) – can have consequences.
Tuning measures on e-bikes and e-scooters mean that they are no longer permitted for use on public roads as defined by the StVZO (Road Traffic Licensing Regulations). Legal use is therefore only possible on private property or - if permitted - in competitions. Riding an e-bike or e-scooter modified by tuning measures on public roads can lead to criminal liability for driving without a license (Section 21 of the Road Traffic Act) and driving without insurance (Section 6 of the PflVG). Tuning measures on e-bikes can lead to the loss of warranty rights and manufacturer guarantees. Furthermore, tuning measures can lead to the loss of insurance coverage and benefits from accident victim assistance in the event of an accident. The e-bike (or e-scooter) modified by tuning measures is subject to additional stress due to the higher speed, which can lead to safety risks.
