Only the pin-shaped (left) sensor is equipped with this Badass Box Version compatible - if you have the "normal" (right) sensor, you need the Badass Box 4 Specialized Set.
The Badass Box 4 is a tuning tool that completely removes the 25 km/h speed limit of your e-bike drive, allowing you to finally utilize the full motor power (see below for exact compatibility). This tuning tool does not offer any additional functions.
The Badass Box 4 works by sending a modified signal to the motor after touchdown, which removes the speed limit.
Due to functional limitations, the correct speed is no longer displayed on the display when tuning is active. We recommend using additional devices with GPS to display the actual speed, such as bike computers or smartphones.
The energy supply of the Badass Box 4 is powered by an included AAA battery. The battery has a range of 7.000 km (or 1 year) and can be easily replaced.
The electronics of the Badass Box is sealed with a special potting compound from the automotive industry, making the box more durable and water-resistant than ever before. As part of a double quality control process, each box is tested for proper function before and after potting.

Important note:
To install the Badass Box For Turbo LEVO, a small modification to the e-bike is required, which requires a little technical skill. Please be sure to read the installation instructions before ordering!

You'll find the integrated sensor near the dropout of your e-bike. To access the sensor, you'll need to remove the rear wheel:
Now loosen the screws of the bracket that attaches the sensor to the dropout:
Now remove the bracket from the sensor:
Slide the pin-shaped sensor into the adapter so that only the cable protrudes. The snap lock must be flush with the surface of the adapter (in the photo below, the sensor is not fully inserted yet):
Use the included cable ties to attach the adapter to the frame of your e-bike. Slide the Badass Box onto the adapter until it clicks into place. Note that the Badass Box then stands upside down, but this does not affect the function:
Make sure the sensor cable is securely attached and cannot reach the brake disc. Then reinstall the rear wheel.
Then all you have to do is mount the spoke magnet and attach it to the edge of the Badass Box Align the housing – that's it! Your e-bike is now tuned and rides much faster with full motor support.
Tip: Keep the removed bracket in case you want to restore your e-bike to its original condition at some point.

Tools
To install an E-Bike tuning chip in your E-Bike it is sometimes special tools necessary. Please check previously whether you have to open the engine compartment to access the motor connectors. This is especially true for products from the Modules, Kit, Dongle and Sensor.
Normally (but not always) opening the engine compartment requires loosening the crank. To do this, you will need a Crank puller. Some engines also have a Spider Tool This is important for opening the lock ring on the chainring - because the chainring must be loosened here so that the motor cover can be removed to access the inside of the motor. If you want to replace the chainring (wear, change the gear ratio), you often need a Spider Tool. The necessary special tools can also be found in our shop. To remove the engine cover, you usually need a Torx or Allen key. For installing the modules, appropriate Pliers from the electronics sector.
Do you decide not for a tuning solution that you have to install in the engine compartment (Box, Software), there is no need for any tools. In our Guide you will find further tips.

Important information on tuning measures for e-bikes and e-scooters
We expressly point out that any modification to e-bikes and e-scooters – whether through hardware tuning (e.g. tuning chips, dongles, sensor adapters) or software tuning (e.g. apps, programs or USB tools) – can have consequences.
Tuning measures on e-bikes and e-scooters mean that they are no longer permitted for use on public roads as defined by the StVZO (Road Traffic Licensing Regulations). Legal use is therefore only possible on private property or - if permitted - in competitions. Riding an e-bike or e-scooter modified by tuning measures on public roads can lead to criminal liability for driving without a license (Section 21 of the Road Traffic Act) and driving without insurance (Section 6 of the PflVG). Tuning measures on e-bikes can lead to the loss of warranty rights and manufacturer guarantees. Furthermore, tuning measures can lead to the loss of insurance coverage and benefits from accident victim assistance in the event of an accident. The e-bike (or e-scooter) modified by tuning measures is subject to additional stress due to the higher speed, which can lead to safety risks.

Delivery takes 1-3 business days within Germany. In exceptional cases, it can take up to 8 business days. Delivery times outside Germany may take longer. Please understand that due to high demand, some products may experience longer delivery times.

Shipping:
Shipping costs for Germany are €4,90; shipping is waived for orders over €180. For countries within the EU, shipping costs are €12,90; shipping is waived for orders over €2.000. We currently do not ship to countries outside the EU. We also do not ship to the USA, France, or Canada (including any overseas territories). We ask that you bear the costs of any return shipments yourself. Please note that customs duties may apply in countries outside the European Union.
Minimum order value:
The minimum order value is €25. Only above this amount are advance payment, PayPal, and bank transfer available as payment methods.
Maximum order value:
The maximum order value for orders outside the EU is €1.000. The maximum order value within the EU is €12.500.
Payment in advance via bank transfer:
Please transfer the total amount, including your order number, to our account, which was communicated to you in the confirmation email. Please note that transfers within Germany can take up to three business days. Transfers from abroad, especially from Austria, usually reach us very quickly. Transfers from other countries can take slightly longer on average.

At the end of the ordering process, you will be redirected to the PayPal page. There you can initiate your payment. Once the PayPal transaction is complete, your order status will change in the shop. The goods will then be shipped as soon as possible.
