A tuning tool for e-bikes equipped with a Heinzmann Direct Power drive. With the EBikeBooster from MountainTuning you can easily remove the 25 km/h speed limit of your e-bike drive and change the maximum speed to a much higher value!
The major advantage of the EBikeBooster is its incredibly easy operation: No prior technical knowledge is required, and there's no need for tedious assembly work. The motor and battery don't need to be disassembled or removed to install the tool. Simply plug the EBikeBooster between the connectors from the e-bike display to the system wiring harness. Then you can adjust the desired settings using the EBikeBooster's control buttons. Once you've removed the speed limit, you can simply remove the booster again—the tool doesn't stay attached to your e-bike.
This ingenious tuning tool not only allows you to increase the maximum motor support, you can also set the starting aid to an individual value between 1 and 15 km/h.
Another advantage of the EBikeBooster is that your e-bike display continues to show the actual speed (including the distance traveled) even when tuned. This tuning tool only removes the speed limit; the other functions of your e-bike are not affected in any way.
Of course, the tuning can be reversed at any time and the e-bike can be returned to its original state very quickly. Simply reconnect the EBikeBooster and restore the original 25 km/h speed limit (this is no problem, as the original values are saved in the EBikeBooster upon first use). You can then use your e-bike normally on public roads again.
Please keep in mind: With the EBikeBooster, you can increase the maximum motor support to a value well above 25 km/h. However, the actual achievable top speed depends on the drive system used.
Important note: Each EBikeBooster is limited to one system. You can then make modifications to this system as often as you like. This means that when you connect the EBikeBooster to a specific e-bike for the first time, it will be paired to that system, and you won't be able to speed up another e-bike with it. However, you can unpair the EBikeBooster from your system; you can then use the tool on another e-bike. However, you can only speed up one system at a time with the EBike Booster.

Tools
To install an E-Bike tuning chip in your E-Bike it is sometimes special tools necessary. Please check previously whether you have to open the engine compartment to access the motor connectors. This is especially true for products from the Modules, Kit, Dongle and Sensor.
Normally (but not always) opening the engine compartment requires loosening the crank. To do this, you will need a Crank puller. Some engines also have a Spider Tool This is important for opening the lock ring on the chainring - because the chainring must be loosened here so that the motor cover can be removed to access the inside of the motor. If you want to replace the chainring (wear, change the gear ratio), you often need a Spider Tool. The necessary special tools can also be found in our shop. To remove the engine cover, you usually need a Torx or Allen key. For installing the modules, appropriate Pliers from the electronics sector.
Do you decide not for a tuning solution that you have to install in the engine compartment (Box, Software), there is no need for any tools. In our Guide you will find further tips.

Important information on tuning measures for e-bikes and e-scooters
We expressly point out that any modification to e-bikes and e-scooters – whether through hardware tuning (e.g. tuning chips, dongles, sensor adapters) or software tuning (e.g. apps, programs or USB tools) – can have consequences.
Tuning measures on e-bikes and e-scooters mean that they are no longer permitted for use on public roads as defined by the StVZO (Road Traffic Licensing Regulations). Legal use is therefore only possible on private property or - if permitted - in competitions. Riding an e-bike or e-scooter modified by tuning measures on public roads can lead to criminal liability for driving without a license (Section 21 of the Road Traffic Act) and driving without insurance (Section 6 of the PflVG). Tuning measures on e-bikes can lead to the loss of warranty rights and manufacturer guarantees. Furthermore, tuning measures can lead to the loss of insurance coverage and benefits from accident victim assistance in the event of an accident. The e-bike (or e-scooter) modified by tuning measures is subject to additional stress due to the higher speed, which can lead to safety risks.

Delivery takes 1-3 business days within Germany. In exceptional cases, it can take up to 8 business days. Delivery times outside Germany may take longer. Please understand that due to high demand, some products may experience longer delivery times.

Shipping:
Shipping costs for Germany are €4,90; shipping is waived for orders over €180. For countries within the EU, shipping costs are €12,90; shipping is waived for orders over €2.000. We currently do not ship to countries outside the EU. We also do not ship to the USA, France, or Canada (including any overseas territories). We ask that you bear the costs of any return shipments yourself. Please note that customs duties may apply in countries outside the European Union.
Minimum order value:
The minimum order value is €25. Only above this amount are advance payment, PayPal, and bank transfer available as payment methods.
Maximum order value:
The maximum order value for orders outside the EU is €1.000. The maximum order value within the EU is €12.500.
Payment in advance via bank transfer:
Please transfer the total amount, including your order number, to our account, which was communicated to you in the confirmation email. Please note that transfers within Germany can take up to three business days. Transfers from abroad, especially from Austria, usually reach us very quickly. Transfers from other countries can take slightly longer on average.
Payment in advance via Paypal:
At the end of the ordering process, you will be redirected to the PayPal page. There you can initiate your payment. Once the PayPal transaction is complete, your order status will change in the shop. The goods will then be shipped as soon as possible.
