With the EBT Unlock Key You will receive a digital license for the permanent activation of compatible Bosch e-bikes. Application requires only one [unclear - possibly a typo or similar]. PC or Mac with browser as well as a standard commercial product USB data cable, which connects your e-bike to your computer. Activation is conveniently done via the web application – without motor disassembly, without a dongle, and without additional components.
The solution is for many Bosch BES1 and BES2 systems suitable and thus covers numerous drives of the Generations 1 to 4 excepted. Bosch Gen1 with HMI display, Bosch Smart System and E-bikes with ABS.
Important: For Bosch Smart System (BES3) is the EBT Unlock Key not Suitable for that. EBTsmart Unlock Key.
Note regarding ABS: The EBT Unlock Key supports No Bosch e-bikes with ABSIs your bike equipped with ABS Equipped, it can be used with this product nicht freigeschaltet will. At Bosch Smart System with ABS comes exclusively from the EBTsmart Unlock Key question – but only up to that point 32 km/h.

Licenses can be used independently of each other and are also suitable for several compatible e-bikes, for example in family, multi-bike or dealer environments.
To install an E-Bike tuning chip in your E-Bike it is sometimes special tools necessary. Please check previously whether you have to open the engine compartment to access the motor connectors. This is especially true for products from the Modules, Kit, Dongle and Sensor.
Normally (but not always) opening the engine compartment requires loosening the crank. To do this, you will need a Crank puller. Some engines also have a Spider Tool This is important for opening the lock ring on the chainring - because the chainring must be loosened here so that the motor cover can be removed to access the inside of the motor. If you want to replace the chainring (wear, change the gear ratio), you often need a Spider Tool. The necessary special tools can also be found in our shop. To remove the engine cover, you usually need a Torx or Allen key. For installing the modules, appropriate Pliers from the electronics sector.
Do you decide not for a tuning solution that you have to install in the engine compartment (Box, Software), there is no need for any tools. In our Guide you will find further tips.

Important information on tuning measures for e-bikes and e-scooters
We expressly point out that any modification to e-bikes and e-scooters – whether through hardware tuning (e.g. tuning chips, dongles, sensor adapters) or software tuning (e.g. apps, programs or USB tools) – can have consequences.
Tuning measures on e-bikes and e-scooters mean that they are no longer permitted for use on public roads as defined by the StVZO (Road Traffic Licensing Regulations). Legal use is therefore only possible on private property or - if permitted - in competitions. Riding an e-bike or e-scooter modified by tuning measures on public roads can lead to criminal liability for driving without a license (Section 21 of the Road Traffic Act) and driving without insurance (Section 6 of the PflVG). Tuning measures on e-bikes can lead to the loss of warranty rights and manufacturer guarantees. Furthermore, tuning measures can lead to the loss of insurance coverage and benefits from accident victim assistance in the event of an accident. The e-bike (or e-scooter) modified by tuning measures is subject to additional stress due to the higher speed, which can lead to safety risks.

Shipping:
Shipping costs for Germany are €4,90; shipping is waived for orders over €180. For countries within the EU, shipping costs are €12,90; shipping is waived for orders over €2.000. We currently do not ship to countries outside the EU. We also do not ship to the USA, France, or Canada (including any overseas territories). We ask that you bear the costs of any return shipments yourself. Please note that customs duties may apply in countries outside the European Union.
Minimum order value:
The minimum order value is €25. Only above this amount are advance payment, PayPal, and bank transfer available as payment methods.
Maximum order value:
The maximum order value for orders outside the EU is €1.000. The maximum order value within the EU is €12.500.
Payment in advance via bank transfer:
Please transfer the total amount, including your order number, to our account, which was communicated to you in the confirmation email. Please note that transfers within Germany can take up to three business days. Transfers from abroad, especially from Austria, usually reach us very quickly. Transfers from other countries can take slightly longer on average.
Payment in advance via Paypal:
At the end of the ordering process, you will be redirected to the PayPal page. There you can initiate your payment. Once the PayPal transaction is complete, your order status will change in the shop. The goods will then be shipped as soon as possible.
