Magnetic smartphone case
Compatible with the FIDLOCK VACUUM system, the latest-generation smartphone mount. Because this innovative phone mount uses a novel combination of magnetism and suction power, attaching your phone to your handlebars is easier than ever before – simply snap it into the mount, and the smartphone automatically centers itself using magnetic force. To remove your smartphone, simply press a button on the side of the mount ("VACUUM base"), and the phone will release. Thanks to this unique operating principle, you can even rotate your smartphone 360° in the mount. All of this can be done easily with just one hand!
FIDLOCK VACUUM is by far the most elegant and user-friendly solution if you want to attach your phone to the handlebars of a bicycle / e-bike.
Please note that the “VACUUM phone case” is only one component of the FIDLOCK VACUUM system – you will also need a compatible mount. We recommend the “VACUUM handlebar base”which can be easily attached to the handlebars using clamps or cable ties.
The VACUUM phone case is equipped with a ball catch and a recessed geometry – this not only looks decorative, but also has very practical reasons.
The smartphone case ("VACUUM phone case") is connected to the holder ("base") via a magnetic guide. The integrated geometry prevents the phone from slipping. As mentioned, the attached phone can be rotated 360° with one hand, even while driving – the recessed ball lock prevents this from happening accidentally. Incidentally, under heavy loads, the phone is secured not only by magnetic force but also by the suction power of the suction cup.
Thanks to this ingenious functional principle, the smartphone is held absolutely securely on the handlebars, even on bumpy trails.
By the way, the VACUUM phone case not only secures the smartphone to the mount, it also has a protective function, both on and off the mount. For this purpose, the smartphone case is equipped with a shock-resistant TPU border, and the interior is lined with a soft material to protect the sensitive back of the phone from scratches.

To use the "VACUUM phone case" (smartphone case), you will need a "VACUUM base" (handlebar mount). A "VACUUM base" is NOT included and must be ordered separately – for example, the “VACUUM handlebar base”which can be easily attached to the handlebars using clamps or cable ties.
How does the FIDLOCK VACUUM system work?
Fidlock Vacuum is an innovative smartphone mount based on a unique combination of suction cups and magnets. The system consists of a special smartphone case (VACUUM case) and a mount (VACUUM base) that must be attached to the handlebars of a bicycle or e-bike. The two elements are easily connected via a magnetic guide. However, the connection is not based solely on magnetic force; it also relies on the suction power of a suction cup, which creates a vacuum. The correct centering of the smartphone is achieved by magnetic force. This allows the mount to withstand even the highest loads, such as those encountered on bumpy trails.
With this ingenious system, attaching your smartphone to your bike/e-bike is definitely easier than ever before – thanks to magnetic force, you simply snap the phone into the mount on the handlebars. Not only is the smartphone quick and easy to attach, it's just as easy to remove. All you have to do is pull a lever on the side of the VACUUM base.
Another advantage of this system is that the smartphone can be easily rotated 360° in the mount, allowing you to switch from portrait to landscape orientation at any time. A ball-lock mechanism prevents the phone from rotating on bumpy trails. Thanks to the groundbreaking FIDLOCK VACUUM system, attaching, removing, and rotating the phone can be done easily with one hand – even while riding.

Tools
To install an E-Bike tuning chip in your E-Bike it is sometimes special tools necessary. Please check previously whether you have to open the engine compartment to access the motor connectors. This is especially true for products from the Modules, Kit, Dongle and Sensor.
Normally (but not always) opening the engine compartment requires loosening the crank. To do this, you will need a Crank puller. Some engines also have a Spider Tool This is important for opening the lock ring on the chainring - because the chainring must be loosened here so that the motor cover can be removed to access the inside of the motor. If you want to replace the chainring (wear, change the gear ratio), you often need a Spider Tool. The necessary special tools can also be found in our shop. To remove the engine cover, you usually need a Torx or Allen key. For installing the modules, appropriate Pliers from the electronics sector.
Do you decide not for a tuning solution that you have to install in the engine compartment (Box, Software), there is no need for any tools. In our Guide you will find further tips.

Important information on tuning measures for e-bikes and e-scooters
We expressly point out that any modification to e-bikes and e-scooters – whether through hardware tuning (e.g. tuning chips, dongles, sensor adapters) or software tuning (e.g. apps, programs or USB tools) – can have consequences.
Tuning measures on e-bikes and e-scooters mean that they are no longer permitted for use on public roads as defined by the StVZO (Road Traffic Licensing Regulations). Legal use is therefore only possible on private property or - if permitted - in competitions. Riding an e-bike or e-scooter modified by tuning measures on public roads can lead to criminal liability for driving without a license (Section 21 of the Road Traffic Act) and driving without insurance (Section 6 of the PflVG). Tuning measures on e-bikes can lead to the loss of warranty rights and manufacturer guarantees. Furthermore, tuning measures can lead to the loss of insurance coverage and benefits from accident victim assistance in the event of an accident. The e-bike (or e-scooter) modified by tuning measures is subject to additional stress due to the higher speed, which can lead to safety risks.

Shipping costs for Germany are €4,90; shipping is waived for orders over €180. For countries within the EU, shipping costs are €12,90; shipping is waived for orders over €2.000. We currently do not ship to countries outside the EU. We also do not ship to the USA, France, or Canada (including any overseas territories). We ask that you bear the costs of any return shipments yourself. Please note that customs duties may apply in countries outside the European Union.
