MBIQ-P for TQ HPR 40 / HPR 50 / HPR 60 – Plug-in tuning for TQ mid-engines
The MBIQ-P for TQ HPR 40 / HPR 50 / HPR 60 is a particularly compact Plug-in tuning solution for TQ mid-enginesThis tuning tool allows you to modify the factory settings. 25 km/h speed limit pick up, so you can use your e-bike with TQ HPR 40, TQ HPR 50 or TQ HPR 60 You can drive significantly faster with full motor support.
The module is deliberately reduced to the essentials: reliable activation without unnecessary additional functions. This makes it MBIQ-P for TQ HPR engines ideal for anyone who lightweight, compact and straightforward tuning solution search.
Ultra-compact plug-in solution with limited installation space
At the MBIQ-P it is a pluggable plug-in solution with a particularly small footprint. The tuning tool has suitable connectors and is easy to install. between speed sensor and engine control inserted. The existing speed sensor can be directly connected to the module.
This keeps the design particularly elegant and eliminates the need for complex additional wiring. For installation, you only need access to the connectors in the engine compartment.
Tuning permanently active – Always On
After the connection of the MBIQ-P for TQ HPR 40 / HPR 50 / HPR 60 The tuning is activated immediately by default when the e-bike is switched on. The standard speed limit is therefore automatically removed.
Modern TQ lightweight systems often deliberately forgo a traditional display. Therefore, the module operates in the Always-On modeAnyone wishing to restore the original condition can of course remove the tuning tool at any time.
Optionally switchable on and off for experienced users
The MBIQ-P additionally leads to a Cable loop to the outsideExperienced users can... ON/OFF switch will be realized.
Loop closed (Delivery condition):
Tuning permanently activated, no speed limit.
Loop opened:
Tuning permanently deactivated, motor assistance only up to 25 km/h.
This means the module is not only interesting as an always-on solution, but can also be used flexibly with appropriate modifications.
How the MBIQ-P works for TQ HPR motors
The MBIQ-P It works using a microcontroller-based principle. Speed manipulationThe current speed profile is analyzed, processed, and, if tuning is active, passed on to the system in a modified form. This removes the 25 km/h speed limit.
Important: It takes place no speed halving instead of, as is known from some other tuning systems.
Display behavior during active tuning
With active tuning, the display shows from about over 22 km / h The speedometer no longer displays correct values. Depending on the model, the display freezes at approximately 20 km/h in this range. The total distance traveled is also correspondingly lower in this range.
This allows the system to remain technically very streamlined and does not require halving the speed signals.
No battery, no independent power supply
The MBIQ-P for TQ HPR 40 / HPR 50 / HPR 60 needed no battery of its own and no separate power supply. The module is passively powered via the sensor path. Therefore, it maintenance-free, especially lightweight and uncomplicated for everyday use.
Advantages of the MBIQ-P for TQ HPR 40 / HPR 50 / HPR 60

Tools
To install an E-Bike tuning chip in your E-Bike it is sometimes special tools necessary. Please check previously whether you have to open the engine compartment to access the motor connectors. This is especially true for products from the Modules, Kit, Dongle and Sensor.
Normally (but not always) opening the engine compartment requires loosening the crank. To do this, you will need a Crank puller. Some engines also have a Spider Tool This is important for opening the lock ring on the chainring - because the chainring must be loosened here so that the motor cover can be removed to access the inside of the motor. If you want to replace the chainring (wear, change the gear ratio), you often need a Spider Tool. The necessary special tools can also be found in our shop. To remove the engine cover, you usually need a Torx or Allen key. For installing the modules, appropriate Pliers from the electronics sector.
Do you decide not for a tuning solution that you have to install in the engine compartment (Box, Software), there is no need for any tools. In our Guide you will find further tips.

Important information on tuning measures for e-bikes and e-scooters
We expressly point out that any modification to e-bikes and e-scooters – whether through hardware tuning (e.g. tuning chips, dongles, sensor adapters) or software tuning (e.g. apps, programs or USB tools) – can have consequences.
Tuning measures on e-bikes and e-scooters mean that they are no longer permitted for use on public roads as defined by the StVZO (Road Traffic Licensing Regulations). Legal use is therefore only possible on private property or - if permitted - in competitions. Riding an e-bike or e-scooter modified by tuning measures on public roads can lead to criminal liability for driving without a license (Section 21 of the Road Traffic Act) and driving without insurance (Section 6 of the PflVG). Tuning measures on e-bikes can lead to the loss of warranty rights and manufacturer guarantees. Furthermore, tuning measures can lead to the loss of insurance coverage and benefits from accident victim assistance in the event of an accident. The e-bike (or e-scooter) modified by tuning measures is subject to additional stress due to the higher speed, which can lead to safety risks.
