MBIQ-S tuning sensor for FISCHER e-bike mid-engines
A simple yet highly effective tuning tool as a ready-to-use sensor solution. The MBIQ-S completely removes the speed limit of FISCHER e-bike motors. The tool is easy to install, as you essentially just need to replace the existing speed sensor with the MBIQ-S. Compatible connectors ensure an optimal connection. Thanks to highly integrated electronics, the tuning tool requires extremely little installation space. Simply keep the original sensor in case you ever want to restore your FISCHER e-bike to its original condition.
The tool is microcontroller-based and completely maintenance-free. It also requires no battery. Once installed, the MBIQ-P analyzes and processes the current speed profile and, if tuning is active, outputs manipulated values. This removes the 25 km/h speed limit, allowing you to drive much faster with full motor support.
Please note that due to this special functionality, when tuning is enabled, your e-bike display will only display manipulated values above a speed of approximately 22 km/h (= no correct speed display above approximately 22 km/h). Incidentally, the MBIQ-S does not affect the motor software's evaluation.
Note: The MBIQ-S is very similar to the original sensor, so the appearance of the e-bike is not changed.
Attention: The MBIQ-S Fischer is also compatible with the ShengYi CMT01 mid-engine, which is used, for example, in Maxtron bikes.
Customer-programmable
The MBIQ-S can be programmed by the customer, allowing you to choose between three different operating modes, allowing you to turn the tuning on and off. Programming is done via specific, sequential wheel movements when turning on the e-bike. A smartphone or PC is not required.
The following operating modes are available:
- Mode 1: Tuning permanently activated (speed limit completely removed, no correct speed display from approx. 22 km/h).
- Mode 2: Tuning permanently deactivated (motor support up to 25 km/h, real speed is displayed).
- Mode 3: Tuning activation after power-on (using the magnet). To activate tuning, the magnet must be in front of the sensor for approximately 3-4 seconds during power-up; otherwise, tuning is deactivated.
If performed correctly, the display shows the set operating mode by outputting different speeds.
MBIQ-S Tuning Sensor for FISCHER – Compatibility
This tuning tool is compatible with FISCHER e-bike mid-drive motors with 3-pin connectors – for example MONTIS models with Silent Drive Mid-engine.

Tools
To install an E-Bike tuning chip in your E-Bike it is sometimes special tools necessary. Please check previously whether you have to open the engine compartment to access the motor connectors. This is especially true for products from the Modules, Kit, Dongle and Sensor.
Normally (but not always) opening the engine compartment requires loosening the crank. To do this, you will need a Crank puller. Some engines also have a Spider Tool This is important for opening the lock ring on the chainring - because the chainring must be loosened here so that the motor cover can be removed to access the inside of the motor. If you want to replace the chainring (wear, change the gear ratio), you often need a Spider Tool. The necessary special tools can also be found in our shop. To remove the engine cover, you usually need a Torx or Allen key. For installing the modules, appropriate Pliers from the electronics sector.
Do you decide not for a tuning solution that you have to install in the engine compartment (Box, Software), there is no need for any tools. In our Guide you will find further tips.

Important information on tuning measures for e-bikes and e-scooters
We expressly point out that any modification to e-bikes and e-scooters – whether through hardware tuning (e.g. tuning chips, dongles, sensor adapters) or software tuning (e.g. apps, programs or USB tools) – can have consequences.
Tuning measures on e-bikes and e-scooters mean that they are no longer permitted for use on public roads as defined by the StVZO (Road Traffic Licensing Regulations). Legal use is therefore only possible on private property or - if permitted - in competitions. Riding an e-bike or e-scooter modified by tuning measures on public roads can lead to criminal liability for driving without a license (Section 21 of the Road Traffic Act) and driving without insurance (Section 6 of the PflVG). Tuning measures on e-bikes can lead to the loss of warranty rights and manufacturer guarantees. Furthermore, tuning measures can lead to the loss of insurance coverage and benefits from accident victim assistance in the event of an accident. The e-bike (or e-scooter) modified by tuning measures is subject to additional stress due to the higher speed, which can lead to safety risks.

Delivery takes 1-3 business days within Germany. In exceptional cases, it can take up to 8 business days. Delivery times outside Germany may take longer. Please understand that due to high demand, some products may experience longer delivery times.

Shipping costs for Germany are €4,90; shipping is waived for orders over €180. For countries within the EU, shipping costs are €12,90; shipping is waived for orders over €2.000. We currently do not ship to countries outside the EU. We also do not ship to the USA, France, or Canada (including any overseas territories). We ask that you bear the costs of any return shipments yourself. Please note that customs duties may apply in countries outside the European Union.
