MESC ONE by Mountain Tuning is an ingenious tuning module that easily removes the 20 km/h speed limit of Doc Green ESA 5000 and ESA1919 e-scooters. Afterward, the vehicles can reach speeds of up to 35 km/h in freewheel mode, although speeds of up to 32 km/h are more realistic in real-life driving conditions (the actual achievable speed always depends on external factors such as rider weight, gradients, wind conditions, battery condition, etc.). In any case, with the MESC ONE Tuning Module much faster than before! This means a real Plus of driving pleasure.

Easy installation
The MESC The ONE Tuning Module simply needs to be installed between the display and the controller. The prerequisite is that you first remove the handlebar and disconnect the cable connections from the handlebar and handlebar stem.
The tuning module can be removed at any time, restoring the e-scooter to its original condition.
Activate tuning
After installation, the tuning module can be switched on and off as required:
After switching on the e-scooter, the tuning is initially always off. Now you just have to wait a few seconds until the lower LED on the scooter no longer lights up green. The tuning can now be activated at any time by pressing the e-scooter's power button 4 times in quick succession within a 7-second window. As soon as the green LED has flashed 3 times, the tuning is activated and you can travel with motor assistance at speeds of around 30 km/h. To deactivate the tuning, simply turn off the e-scooter. The next time you switch it on, the tuning must be reactivated as described above.
Tip: Make sure you press the power button to activate the tuning (7 times) as quickly as possible – if you press it too slowly, the light or eco mode will be activated instead.

To install an E-Bike tuning chip in your E-Bike it is sometimes special tools necessary. Please check previously whether you have to open the engine compartment to access the motor connectors. This is especially true for products from the Modules, Kit, Dongle and Sensor.
Normally (but not always) opening the engine compartment requires loosening the crank. To do this, you will need a Crank puller. Some engines also have a Spider Tool This is important for opening the lock ring on the chainring - because the chainring must be loosened here so that the motor cover can be removed to access the inside of the motor. If you want to replace the chainring (wear, change the gear ratio), you often need a Spider Tool. The necessary special tools can also be found in our shop. To remove the engine cover, you usually need a Torx or Allen key. For installing the modules, appropriate Pliers from the electronics sector.
Do you decide not for a tuning solution that you have to install in the engine compartment (Box, Software), there is no need for any tools. In our Guide you will find further tips.

Important information on tuning measures for e-bikes and e-scooters
We expressly point out that any modification to e-bikes and e-scooters – whether through hardware tuning (e.g. tuning chips, dongles, sensor adapters) or software tuning (e.g. apps, programs or USB tools) – can have consequences.
Tuning measures on e-bikes and e-scooters mean that they are no longer permitted for use on public roads as defined by the StVZO (Road Traffic Licensing Regulations). Legal use is therefore only possible on private property or - if permitted - in competitions. Riding an e-bike or e-scooter modified by tuning measures on public roads can lead to criminal liability for driving without a license (Section 21 of the Road Traffic Act) and driving without insurance (Section 6 of the PflVG). Tuning measures on e-bikes can lead to the loss of warranty rights and manufacturer guarantees. Furthermore, tuning measures can lead to the loss of insurance coverage and benefits from accident victim assistance in the event of an accident. The e-bike (or e-scooter) modified by tuning measures is subject to additional stress due to the higher speed, which can lead to safety risks.
