If your e-bike doesn't have either of these two plug types, it's either not a Bosch e-bike or it's a very old, first-generation Bosch system.
The PearTune MSO 3.0 for Bosch is available in three versions.
Normal version ("Display"): The tuning can be switched on and off via the WALK button, or alternatively via a key combination.
Still On variant: The tuning is active immediately after switching on the e-bike. This version is intended for bikes without a WALK button.
Smartphone Hub COBI variant: Activation is achieved by pressing and holding any key for approximately 5 seconds.

To install an E-Bike tuning chip in your E-Bike it is sometimes special tools necessary. Please check previously whether you have to open the engine compartment to access the motor connectors. This is especially true for products from the Modules, Kit, Dongle and Sensor.
Normally (but not always) opening the engine compartment requires loosening the crank. To do this, you will need a Crank puller. Some engines also have a Spider Tool This is important for opening the lock ring on the chainring - because the chainring must be loosened here so that the motor cover can be removed to access the inside of the motor. If you want to replace the chainring (wear, change the gear ratio), you often need a Spider Tool. The necessary special tools can also be found in our shop. To remove the engine cover, you usually need a Torx or Allen key. For installing the modules, appropriate Pliers from the electronics sector.
