The PearTune MSO 3.0 Still On lifts the 25 km/h speed limit of your Bosch Smart The system reliably powers e-bikes and ensures that motor support is maintained for significantly longer, even at higher speeds.
This version is the Still On VersionThis means: The tuning is active immediately after switching on the e-bike and remains permanently switched on. This variant is specifically for Bosch Smart System e-bikes designed where No +/- control buttons are available for turning the tuning on and off.
If your e-bike has the corresponding buttons, you should probably go to PearTune MSO 3.0 Normal Version However, if you want more features such as individually adjustable maximum speed, activation code or chip lock, we recommend the PearTune MSO 4.0 V2 for Bosch Smart SystemYou do not need a PC, a smartphone or an app to use this module.

At higher speeds, the actual speed remains readable – but via the second digit and the decimal place of the display.

Mounting
The PearTune MSO 3.0 Still On is a module that runs between Motor and speed sensor and between Motor and display is installed. To access the necessary connectors, the engine cover must be briefly removed during installation.
Attention: If you need a crank puller to open the engine, you can order a suitable crank puller cheaply in our shop.
Important: If you want to use the module in a completely new e-bike, you should first at least 1 km You should have ridden the bike before installing the tuning.

The PearTune MSO 3.0 Still On focuses deliberately on the essentials: the reliable removal of the 25 km/h speed limit with particularly easy use – especially for bikes without suitable control buttons.
If you also want more comfort and extended features, the MSO 4.0 V2 Version the stronger option. To install an E-Bike tuning chip in your E-Bike it is sometimes special tools necessary. Please check previously whether you have to open the engine compartment to access the motor connectors. This is especially true for products from the Modules, Kit, Dongle and Sensor.
Normally (but not always) opening the engine compartment requires loosening the crank. To do this, you will need a Crank puller. Some engines also have a Spider Tool This is important for opening the lock ring on the chainring - because the chainring must be loosened here so that the motor cover can be removed to access the inside of the motor. If you want to replace the chainring (wear, change the gear ratio), you often need a Spider Tool. The necessary special tools can also be found in our shop. To remove the engine cover, you usually need a Torx or Allen key. For installing the modules, appropriate Pliers from the electronics sector.

Tuning measures on e-bikes and e-scooters mean that they are no longer permitted for use on public roads as defined by the StVZO (Road Traffic Licensing Regulations). Legal use is therefore only possible on private property or - if permitted - in competitions. Riding an e-bike or e-scooter modified by tuning measures on public roads can lead to criminal liability for driving without a license (Section 21 of the Road Traffic Act) and driving without insurance (Section 6 of the PflVG). Tuning measures on e-bikes can lead to the loss of warranty rights and manufacturer guarantees. Furthermore, tuning measures can lead to the loss of insurance coverage and benefits from accident victim assistance in the event of an accident. The e-bike (or e-scooter) modified by tuning measures is subject to additional stress due to the higher speed, which can lead to safety risks.
