The PearTune MSO 4.0 for Brose E-Bikes is currently the most functional PearTune Solution for classic Brose Drive systems. The module completely removes the 25 km/h speed limit and ensures that you retain full motor support even at higher speeds.
Unlike older Brose Version 4.0 offers significantly more options for modules: The maximum supported speed can be individually adjusted, the tuning status can be set upon startup, and the module can be controlled via the... Chip lock It is virtually invisible to outsiders. No PC or smartphone is required for operation.

- Maximum speed can be individually adjusted: The maximum speed can be individually adjusted using the + and - buttons on the e-bike, in 1 km/h increments.

- Chip lock (“Lock the Chip”): This function makes the tuning tool virtually invisible. The chip lock can be activated using the control buttons on the e-bike. Once this is done, the tuning chip is locked by software, making it impossible to detect that the tuning module has been installed. This means that the e-bike and display function normally, and the tuning can no longer be activated. Only after a certain period of time can the chip lock be removed using a specific key combination, and the tuning can be reactivated.
- Tuning activation: The tuning module can be conveniently switched on and off using the control buttons on the e-bike (either by pressing the light button or by briefly pressing the + and - buttons twice). When switching on or off, the display briefly shows whether the tuning has actually been activated or deactivated.
- Tuning status when switching on: Set whether the tuning should be automatically ON or OFF after switching on the e-bike.

To install an E-Bike tuning chip in your E-Bike it is sometimes special tools necessary. Please check previously whether you have to open the engine compartment to access the motor connectors. This is especially true for products from the Modules, Kit, Dongle and Sensor.
Normally (but not always) opening the engine compartment requires loosening the crank. To do this, you will need a Crank puller. Some engines also have a Spider Tool This is important for opening the lock ring on the chainring - because the chainring must be loosened here so that the motor cover can be removed to access the inside of the motor. If you want to replace the chainring (wear, change the gear ratio), you often need a Spider Tool. The necessary special tools can also be found in our shop.
