PearTune MSO 4.0 for Brose with FIT System – Functions at a glance
- No more 25 km/h speed limit.
- Maximum speed can be individually adjusted: The maximum speed can be individually adjusted using the + and - buttons on the e-bike, in 1 km/h increments.
- Display shows correct speed, even with active tuning.
- Chip lock (“Lock the Chip”): This function makes the tuning tool virtually invisible. The chip lock can be activated using the control buttons on the e-bike. Once this is done, the tuning chip is locked by software, making it impossible to detect that the tuning module has been installed. This means that the e-bike and display function normally, and the tuning can no longer be activated. Only after a certain period of time can the chip lock be removed using a specific key combination, and the tuning can be reactivated.
- Tuning activation: The tuning module can be conveniently switched on and off using the control buttons on the e-bike (either by pressing the light button or by briefly pressing the + and - buttons twice). When switching on or off, the display briefly shows whether the tuning has actually been activated or deactivated.
- Tuning status when switching on: Set whether the tuning should be automatically ON or OFF after switching on the e-bike.
- Chip Reset: In case you need to replace the speed sensor or the PearTune If you want to connect the module to another e-bike, you can perform a chip reset. You can either retain the chip settings or restore the factory settings.
- Addition of the correct kilometers driven: If tuning is activated, the actual distance travelled is no longer displayed during the journey. PearTune 4.0 allows you to set how the missing kilometers should be recalculated or supplemented – for example, only when stopping, or also as a supplement while driving, when stopping, etc.
- Switch between NORMAL and STILL ON version possible (with the STILL ON variant, the tuning is always ON as soon as you switch on the e-bike / STILL ON is suitable for e-bikes without the necessary control buttons).
- PearTune MSO 4.0 does not require its own battery (power is supplied via the display connector).
- Plug & Play: To simplify installation, the tuning module was equipped with original connectors.
- Compact & lightweight: The module is compact and therefore easy to install, saving space. It weighs just 12g.
PearTune MSO 4.0 for Brose with FIT System - Compatibility
This tuning tool is compatible with e-bikes with Brose Drives and displays with FIT System. It is irrelevant whether the FIT System is simply called "FIT System" or "FIT 2.0 System"; the PearTune MSO 4.0 is definitely compatible.
"Fit 1.0" systems are used in Brose Engines not for use.
Brose Motors with FIT system are installed, for example, in BULLS E-STREAM EVO e-bikes.

Tools
To install an E-Bike tuning chip in your E-Bike it is sometimes special tools necessary. Please check previously whether you have to open the engine compartment to access the motor connectors. This is especially true for products from the Modules, Kit, Dongle and Sensor.
Normally (but not always) opening the engine compartment requires loosening the crank. To do this, you will need a Crank puller. Some engines also have a Spider Tool This is important for opening the lock ring on the chainring - because the chainring must be loosened here so that the motor cover can be removed to access the inside of the motor. If you want to replace the chainring (wear, change the gear ratio), you often need a Spider Tool. The necessary special tools can also be found in our shop. To remove the engine cover, you usually need a Torx or Allen key. For installing the modules, appropriate Pliers from the electronics sector.
Do you decide not for a tuning solution that you have to install in the engine compartment (Box, Software), there is no need for any tools. In our Guide you will find further tips.

Important information on tuning measures for e-bikes and e-scooters
We expressly point out that any modification to e-bikes and e-scooters – whether through hardware tuning (e.g. tuning chips, dongles, sensor adapters) or software tuning (e.g. apps, programs or USB tools) – can have consequences.
Tuning measures on e-bikes and e-scooters mean that they are no longer permitted for use on public roads as defined by the StVZO (Road Traffic Licensing Regulations). Legal use is therefore only possible on private property or - if permitted - in competitions. Riding an e-bike or e-scooter modified by tuning measures on public roads can lead to criminal liability for driving without a license (Section 21 of the Road Traffic Act) and driving without insurance (Section 6 of the PflVG). Tuning measures on e-bikes can lead to the loss of warranty rights and manufacturer guarantees. Furthermore, tuning measures can lead to the loss of insurance coverage and benefits from accident victim assistance in the event of an accident. The e-bike (or e-scooter) modified by tuning measures is subject to additional stress due to the higher speed, which can lead to safety risks.

Delivery takes 1-3 business days within Germany. In exceptional cases, it can take up to 8 business days. Delivery times outside Germany may take longer. Please understand that due to high demand, some products may experience longer delivery times.

Shipping:
Shipping costs for Germany are €4,90; shipping is waived for orders over €180. For countries within the EU, shipping costs are €12,90; shipping is waived for orders over €2.000. We currently do not ship to countries outside the EU. We also do not ship to the USA, France, or Canada (including any overseas territories). We ask that you bear the costs of any return shipments yourself. Please note that customs duties may apply in countries outside the European Union.
Minimum order value:
The minimum order value is €25. Only above this amount are advance payment, PayPal, and bank transfer available as payment methods.
Maximum order value:
The maximum order value for orders outside the EU is €1.000. The maximum order value within the EU is €12.500.
Payment in advance via bank transfer:
Please transfer the total amount, including your order number, to our account, which was communicated to you in the confirmation email. Please note that transfers within Germany can take up to three business days. Transfers from abroad, especially from Austria, usually reach us very quickly. Transfers from other countries can take slightly longer on average.
Payment in advance via Paypal:
At the end of the ordering process, you will be redirected to the PayPal page. There you can initiate your payment. Once the PayPal transaction is complete, your order status will change in the shop. The goods will then be shipped as soon as possible.
