The PearTune MSO 4.0 completely removes the 25 km/h speed limit of your Flyon e-bike, allowing you to finally take full advantage of the impressive power of the drive. MSO stands for "Max Speed Off."
But the functionality of this tuning module goes far beyond simply unlocking the bike. Unlike some other tuning tools, it doesn't simply remove the speed limit; you can also set the maximum speed to a custom value using the control buttons on the e-bike. Despite active tuning, the display continues to show the correct speed.
An original new feature is the "Chip Lock" function. This function allows you to "hide" the tuning in case of an emergency. Outsiders will no longer be able to tell that the bike has been equipped with a tuning tool. The e-bike and display will then function normally, and the chip lock can only be removed with a specific key combination.
The PearTune 4.0 is a module that must be connected directly to the motor, namely between the motor and the display, and between the motor and the magnetic speed sensor. The display connectors must be located underneath the display. To facilitate installation, the tool is equipped with matching original connectors ("plug & play"). The tuning can be conveniently turned on or off at any time using the e-bike's control buttons.

- Maximum speed can be set individually: You can set the maximum speed to a desired value using the + and - buttons, conveniently in 1 km/h increments.
- Correct speed on the display - even if the tuning module is activated.
- Chip lock (“Lock the Chip”): In case of emergency, the PearTune This essentially hides the module. This means: If you activate the chip lock using the control buttons on the e-bike, this results in a software-based lock of the module. Outsiders can then no longer detect that a tuning tool has been installed. In this case, the e-bike and display function normally, and the tuning can no longer be activated. Unlocking is then only possible with a specific key combination. The tuning can then be used again.
- Chip activation: The tuning can be activated/deactivated as needed using the control buttons on the e-bike – by briefly pressing the light button or the + and - buttons (left and right). When switching on or off, the display briefly shows whether the tuning has actually been activated or deactivated.
- Tuning status when switching on: You can set whether the tuning should be automatically switched on or off when you switch on the Flyon e-bike.
- Chip Reset: If you want to connect the tuning chip to another e-bike or replace the speed sensor, you can perform a chip reset. You can either keep the settings or reset the module to factory defaults.
- Add correct mileage: If the tuning module is switched on, the actual distance travelled is no longer displayed. PearTune MSO 4.0 can now be configured to calculate/supplement the missing kilometers – e.g. only when stopping, or also as a supplement while driving and when stopping, etc.
- Optional switching between Normal and Still On version (with the Still On variant, the tuning is always ON as soon as you switch on the e-bike / Still On is suitable for e-bikes without the control buttons required to switch on and off).
- The PearTune Module does not require its own battery, since the power supply is via the display connector.
- Plug & Play: After connecting, the PearTune The module doesn't require complicated configuration. The tuning tool is equipped with original connectors for easy installation.
- Small, compact & light: The PearTune The module is very small and therefore easy to install. It weighs just 12g.

Tools
To install an E-Bike tuning chip in your E-Bike it is sometimes special tools necessary. Please check previously whether you have to open the engine compartment to access the motor connectors. This is especially true for products from the Modules, Kit, Dongle and Sensor.
Normally (but not always) opening the engine compartment requires loosening the crank. To do this, you will need a Crank puller. Some engines also have a Spider Tool This is important for opening the lock ring on the chainring - because the chainring must be loosened here so that the motor cover can be removed to access the inside of the motor. If you want to replace the chainring (wear, change the gear ratio), you often need a Spider Tool. The necessary special tools can also be found in our shop. To remove the engine cover, you usually need a Torx or Allen key. For installing the modules, appropriate Pliers from the electronics sector.
Do you decide not for a tuning solution that you have to install in the engine compartment (Box, Software), there is no need for any tools. In our Guide you will find further tips.

Important information on tuning measures for e-bikes and e-scooters
We expressly point out that any modification to e-bikes and e-scooters – whether through hardware tuning (e.g. tuning chips, dongles, sensor adapters) or software tuning (e.g. apps, programs or USB tools) – can have consequences.
Tuning measures on e-bikes and e-scooters mean that they are no longer permitted for use on public roads as defined by the StVZO (Road Traffic Licensing Regulations). Legal use is therefore only possible on private property or - if permitted - in competitions. Riding an e-bike or e-scooter modified by tuning measures on public roads can lead to criminal liability for driving without a license (Section 21 of the Road Traffic Act) and driving without insurance (Section 6 of the PflVG). Tuning measures on e-bikes can lead to the loss of warranty rights and manufacturer guarantees. Furthermore, tuning measures can lead to the loss of insurance coverage and benefits from accident victim assistance in the event of an accident. The e-bike (or e-scooter) modified by tuning measures is subject to additional stress due to the higher speed, which can lead to safety risks.

Delivery takes 1-3 business days within Germany. In exceptional cases, it can take up to 8 business days. Delivery times outside Germany may take longer. Please understand that due to high demand, some products may experience longer delivery times.

Shipping:
Shipping costs for Germany are €4,90; shipping is waived for orders over €180. For countries within the EU, shipping costs are €12,90; shipping is waived for orders over €2.000. We currently do not ship to countries outside the EU. We also do not ship to the USA, France, or Canada (including any overseas territories). We ask that you bear the costs of any return shipments yourself. Please note that customs duties may apply in countries outside the European Union.

The minimum order value is €25. Only above this amount are advance payment, PayPal, and bank transfer available as payment methods.
Maximum order value:
The maximum order value for orders outside the EU is €1.000. The maximum order value within the EU is €12.500.
