PearTune MSO 4.0 for TQ HPR50
Remove the 25 km/h speed limit of your TQ HPR50 e-bike and unleash the full potential of this exceptionally quiet and natural drive system.
The TQ HPR50 motor provides an extremely smooth riding experience, very similar to a classic bicycle. This is precisely where the PearTune MSO 4.0: Motor assistance no longer ends at 25 km/h, but can be individually extended. "MSO" stands for Max Speed Off.
Unlike simple tuning modules, with this one you can PearTune 4.0 allows you to even set the maximum supported speed yourself – directly via the control buttons on the e-bike. This way, the system can be perfectly tailored to your needs, e.g., a moderate 30 km/h for greater efficiency or significantly higher for maximum performance. Performance.
The tuning can be conveniently activated or deactivated at any time using the control buttons (+ / -).
A special feature is the integrated Chip lockThis allows you to make the tuning completely "invisible" if needed. In this state, the e-bike behaves as it did in its original state, and the tuning cannot be activated until the lock is removed.

Notes on operation
This tuning also works on TQ HPR50 e-bikes with only a control button (without + / - buttons). In this case, the tuning is activated automatically as soon as the e-bike is switched on.
If an additional control unit (e.g. SRAM or Shimano Remote) is retrofitted later, the tuning can be fully controlled again.

Important note:
This tuning module is currently only available for the TQ HPR50 Drive provided.

To install an E-Bike tuning chip in your E-Bike it is sometimes special tools necessary. Please check previously whether you have to open the engine compartment to access the motor connectors. This is especially true for products from the Modules, Kit, Dongle and Sensor.
Normally (but not always) opening the engine compartment requires loosening the crank. To do this, you will need a Crank puller. Some engines also have a Spider Tool This is important for opening the lock ring on the chainring - because the chainring must be loosened here so that the motor cover can be removed to access the inside of the motor. If you want to replace the chainring (wear, change the gear ratio), you often need a Spider Tool. The necessary special tools can also be found in our shop. To remove the engine cover, you usually need a Torx or Allen key. For installing the modules, appropriate Pliers from the electronics sector.
Do you decide not for a tuning solution that you have to install in the engine compartment (Box, Software), there is no need for any tools. In our Guide you will find further tips.

Important information on tuning measures for e-bikes and e-scooters
We expressly point out that any modification to e-bikes and e-scooters – whether through hardware tuning (e.g. tuning chips, dongles, sensor adapters) or software tuning (e.g. apps, programs or USB tools) – can have consequences.
Tuning measures on e-bikes and e-scooters mean that they are no longer permitted for use on public roads as defined by the StVZO (Road Traffic Licensing Regulations). Legal use is therefore only possible on private property or - if permitted - in competitions. Riding an e-bike or e-scooter modified by tuning measures on public roads can lead to criminal liability for driving without a license (Section 21 of the Road Traffic Act) and driving without insurance (Section 6 of the PflVG). Tuning measures on e-bikes can lead to the loss of warranty rights and manufacturer guarantees. Furthermore, tuning measures can lead to the loss of insurance coverage and benefits from accident victim assistance in the event of an accident. The e-bike (or e-scooter) modified by tuning measures is subject to additional stress due to the higher speed, which can lead to safety risks.
