ScooterBoost Tuning Chip – the advantages at a glance:
-No more speed limits! The ScooterBoost The tuning chip removes the 20 km/h speed limit, allowing you to drive much faster – depending on the load and gradient, speeds of around 25-32 km/h can be reached. If you connect the chip to your PC via an update cable, you can set the desired speed. Configure Max Speed individually.
-Easy tuning activation: You can easily activate the tuning using the e-scooter's controls, for example, by pressing the brake six times in quick succession. Please note that the activation code may vary depending on the model; you can find more detailed information in the user manual. If you have an update cable, you can even set a personal activation code on your PC.
-German maneuvers: For your safety, the tuning is always initially OFF when you turn on the e-scooter (=maximum speed 20 km/h), so it must first be activated via a key combination. Tip: If you have an update cable, you can also deactivate the German Maneuver via PC – in this case, the tuning will immediately be ON (speed limit lifted) as soon as you restart the e-scooter.
-Simple installation: The installation of the ScooterBoost Chips is very simple, you just have to connect it to the handlebar and store it. To do this, you first have to disconnect the cable connections between the controller and the motor under the handlebar; then the ScooterBoost The chip is simply plugged in. After installation, it's not noticeable from the outside that a tuning chip has been installed. Because the chip is so slim and compact, there's more than enough space in the steering rod. Sturdy plug connections ensure an optimal connection. Installation can be completed quickly by yourself; no special technical skills or tools are required. If necessary, the chip can be removed at any time without leaving any residue. Afterward, the e-scooter will be returned to its original condition and its original handling characteristics.

Tools
To install an E-Bike tuning chip in your E-Bike it is sometimes special tools necessary. Please check previously whether you have to open the engine compartment to access the motor connectors. This is especially true for products from the Modules, Kit, Dongle and Sensor.
Normally (but not always) opening the engine compartment requires loosening the crank. To do this, you will need a Crank puller. Some engines also have a Spider Tool This is important for opening the lock ring on the chainring - because the chainring must be loosened here so that the motor cover can be removed to access the inside of the motor. If you want to replace the chainring (wear, change the gear ratio), you often need a Spider Tool. The necessary special tools can also be found in our shop. To remove the engine cover, you usually need a Torx or Allen key. For installing the modules, appropriate Pliers from the electronics sector.
Do you decide not for a tuning solution that you have to install in the engine compartment (Box, Software), there is no need for any tools. In our Guide you will find further tips.

Important information on tuning measures for e-bikes and e-scooters
We expressly point out that any modification to e-bikes and e-scooters – whether through hardware tuning (e.g. tuning chips, dongles, sensor adapters) or software tuning (e.g. apps, programs or USB tools) – can have consequences.
Tuning measures on e-bikes and e-scooters mean that they are no longer permitted for use on public roads as defined by the StVZO (Road Traffic Licensing Regulations). Legal use is therefore only possible on private property or - if permitted - in competitions. Riding an e-bike or e-scooter modified by tuning measures on public roads can lead to criminal liability for driving without a license (Section 21 of the Road Traffic Act) and driving without insurance (Section 6 of the PflVG). Tuning measures on e-bikes can lead to the loss of warranty rights and manufacturer guarantees. Furthermore, tuning measures can lead to the loss of insurance coverage and benefits from accident victim assistance in the event of an accident. The e-bike (or e-scooter) modified by tuning measures is subject to additional stress due to the higher speed, which can lead to safety risks.

Delivery takes 1-3 business days within Germany. In exceptional cases, it can take up to 8 business days. Delivery times outside Germany may take longer. Please understand that due to high demand, some products may experience longer delivery times.

Shipping costs for Germany are €4,90; shipping is waived for orders over €180. For countries within the EU, shipping costs are €12,90; shipping is waived for orders over €2.000. We currently do not ship to countries outside the EU. We also do not ship to the USA, France, or Canada (including any overseas territories). We ask that you bear the costs of any return shipments yourself. Please note that customs duties may apply in countries outside the European Union.
