The ScooterBoost The tuning chip removes the 20 km/h speed limit on your Xiaomi 4 Lite Gen2 e-scooter, allowing you to ride significantly faster! Installing the chip is very simple and only takes a few minutes. In combination with the optional update cable, the tuning settings can even be adjusted in the future via PC. Optional updates are also available, making the chip as future-proof as possible.
The ScooterBoost The tuning chip uses the latest 32-bit technology; it's extremely powerful and reliable. This product is a truly essential accessory for all Xiaomi 4 Lite Gen2 e-scooters. The chip removes the preset 20 km/h speed limit, allowing you to ride much faster—and, most importantly, without any speed limit. The motor power itself is not changed; it simply utilizes the existing motor capacity. The scooter then rides much more dynamically and, above all, faster—experience a whole new riding experience!
The ScooterBoost Tuning chip comes with practical plug & play connectors suitable for the Xiaomi 4 Lite Gen2 e-scooter.
As an accessory for the chip we recommend the optional update cable, which allows you to connect the tuning chip to your PC or laptop. You then have the option to perform firmware updates and customize the tuning (features will be gradually released starting in early 2025).

ScooterBoost Tuning Chip – the advantages at a glance:
-Not 20 km/h Speed limit more: By unlocking the e-scooter, speeds of up to 25-27 km/h can be reached; of course, this always depends on factors such as rider weight, incline angle, etc. With the help of the update cable, the maximum speed can even be individually adjusted.

If you have an update cable, you can also deactivate the German Maneuver via PC – the tuning will then be activated immediately when you turn on the e-scooter (the speed limit remains permanently disabled).
-Very easy installation: The installation of the ScooterBoost Chips is really simple, you just have to connect and install it in the handlebar. Simply disconnect the cable connections between the controller and the motor under the handlebar, and then plug the ScooterBoost The chip sits firmly in between. Because the chip is slim and compact, it can be easily stored in the handlebar. Sturdy plug-in connectors ensure an extra secure connection. Once installed, the chip is invisible to outsiders. DIY installation can be completed quickly; no special technical skills or tools are required. There's no complicated configuration required (plug & play).

Attention: All current firmware versions of the e-scooter are supported – even WITHOUT update cable.
Tip: If you have another Xiaomi e-scooter, look for another ScooterBoost Chip. The Xiaomi 4 Lite Gen2 differs from the Xiaomi 4 Lite Gen1 in that it has a 13.890 mAh battery capacity and 10-inch tires.

Tools
To install an E-Bike tuning chip in your E-Bike it is sometimes special tools necessary. Please check previously whether you have to open the engine compartment to access the motor connectors. This is especially true for products from the Modules, Kit, Dongle and Sensor.
Normally (but not always) opening the engine compartment requires loosening the crank. To do this, you will need a Crank puller. Some engines also have a Spider Tool This is important for opening the lock ring on the chainring - because the chainring must be loosened here so that the motor cover can be removed to access the inside of the motor. If you want to replace the chainring (wear, change the gear ratio), you often need a Spider Tool. The necessary special tools can also be found in our shop. To remove the engine cover, you usually need a Torx or Allen key. For installing the modules, appropriate Pliers from the electronics sector.
Do you decide not for a tuning solution that you have to install in the engine compartment (Box, Software), there is no need for any tools. In our Guide you will find further tips.

Important information on tuning measures for e-bikes and e-scooters
We expressly point out that any modification to e-bikes and e-scooters – whether through hardware tuning (e.g. tuning chips, dongles, sensor adapters) or software tuning (e.g. apps, programs or USB tools) – can have consequences.
Tuning measures on e-bikes and e-scooters mean that they are no longer permitted for use on public roads as defined by the StVZO (Road Traffic Licensing Regulations). Legal use is therefore only possible on private property or - if permitted - in competitions. Riding an e-bike or e-scooter modified by tuning measures on public roads can lead to criminal liability for driving without a license (Section 21 of the Road Traffic Act) and driving without insurance (Section 6 of the PflVG). Tuning measures on e-bikes can lead to the loss of warranty rights and manufacturer guarantees. Furthermore, tuning measures can lead to the loss of insurance coverage and benefits from accident victim assistance in the event of an accident. The e-bike (or e-scooter) modified by tuning measures is subject to additional stress due to the higher speed, which can lead to safety risks.

Delivery takes 1-3 business days within Germany. In exceptional cases, it can take up to 8 business days. Delivery times outside Germany may take longer. Please understand that due to high demand, some products may experience longer delivery times.

Shipping costs for Germany are €4,90; shipping is waived for orders over €180. For countries within the EU, shipping costs are €12,90; shipping is waived for orders over €2.000. We currently do not ship to countries outside the EU. We also do not ship to the USA, France, or Canada (including any overseas territories). We ask that you bear the costs of any return shipments yourself. Please note that customs duties may apply in countries outside the European Union.

The maximum order value for orders outside the EU is €1.000. The maximum order value within the EU is €12.500.

Please note that transfers within Germany can take up to three business days. Transfers from abroad, especially from Austria, usually reach us very quickly. Transfers from other countries can take slightly longer on average.
