sIMPLEk Stick Pro for Brose
If you are annoyed by the speed limit of your Brose E-bike drive, is the sIMPLEk Stick Pro is a good solution. It's a tuning tool that completely removes the 25 km/h (or 45 km/h) speed limit of the motor – no more, no less. Once you've installed the wiring and sIMPLEk Stick Pro, tuning mode is activated and you benefit from virtually unlimited support. Since this tool is a dongle with a USB connection, you can unplug all the tuning-relevant components within seconds.
The installation of this tuning tool is straightforward (see below).
Important note: This is sIMPLEk Stick is the “Pro” version and therefore a finished product – so you don’t have to assemble the tool yourself.

Real speed remains readable
In contrast to many other e-bike tuning tools, the sIMPLEk Stick Pro, the actual speed can be read even when tuning is active, although (from a speed of 10 km/h) via the second digit and the decimal place of the speed display - a display of 13,6 km/h would therefore correspond to a speed of 36 km/h in reality, etc.
The maximum speed and the distance traveled are also displayed correctly, even if these values are only adjusted after approximately 1 minute of standstill.
Easy installation
Installing this tuning dongle is straightforward and can be performed even by a layperson with a little technical skill. Follow these steps:
- First remove the battery.
- Loosen the 8 mm Allen screw on your e-bike's crank with an 8 mm Allen key. Remove the crank (use a crank puller if you can't remove it by hand).
- Remove the 5 Torx screws on the engine cover with a Torx 20 socket wrench and remove them.
- Unplug the speed sensor connector.
- Now you need to cut the speed sensor cable so that you can connect the individual wires to the insulation displacement terminal of the connecting cable. The cable ends must be inserted into the insulation displacement terminal – please ensure the polarity is correct.
- Fix the cables by pressing the insulation displacement terminal together.
- Now you just have to attach the USB connection cable to the desired position of the sIMPLEk Install Stick Pro.
- Put everything back together.
When used for the first time, a one-time calibration is carried out automatically so that the correct speed can be read for each wheel circumference (see operating instructions).

Tools
To install an E-Bike tuning chip in your E-Bike it is sometimes special tools necessary. Please check previously whether you have to open the engine compartment to access the motor connectors. This is especially true for products from the Modules, Kit, Dongle and Sensor.
Normally (but not always) opening the engine compartment requires loosening the crank. To do this, you will need a Crank puller. Some engines also have a Spider Tool This is important for opening the lock ring on the chainring - because the chainring must be loosened here so that the motor cover can be removed to access the inside of the motor. If you want to replace the chainring (wear, change the gear ratio), you often need a Spider Tool. The necessary special tools can also be found in our shop. To remove the engine cover, you usually need a Torx or Allen key. For installing the modules, appropriate Pliers from the electronics sector.
Do you decide not for a tuning solution that you have to install in the engine compartment (Box, Software), there is no need for any tools. In our Guide you will find further tips.

Important information on tuning measures for e-bikes and e-scooters
We expressly point out that any modification to e-bikes and e-scooters – whether through hardware tuning (e.g. tuning chips, dongles, sensor adapters) or software tuning (e.g. apps, programs or USB tools) – can have consequences.
Tuning measures on e-bikes and e-scooters mean that they are no longer permitted for use on public roads as defined by the StVZO (Road Traffic Licensing Regulations). Legal use is therefore only possible on private property or - if permitted - in competitions. Riding an e-bike or e-scooter modified by tuning measures on public roads can lead to criminal liability for driving without a license (Section 21 of the Road Traffic Act) and driving without insurance (Section 6 of the PflVG). Tuning measures on e-bikes can lead to the loss of warranty rights and manufacturer guarantees. Furthermore, tuning measures can lead to the loss of insurance coverage and benefits from accident victim assistance in the event of an accident. The e-bike (or e-scooter) modified by tuning measures is subject to additional stress due to the higher speed, which can lead to safety risks.

Delivery takes 1-3 business days within Germany. In exceptional cases, it can take up to 8 business days. Delivery times outside Germany may take longer. Please understand that due to high demand, some products may experience longer delivery times.

Shipping costs for Germany are €4,90; shipping is waived for orders over €180. For countries within the EU, shipping costs are €12,90; shipping is waived for orders over €2.000. We currently do not ship to countries outside the EU. We also do not ship to the USA, France, or Canada (including any overseas territories). We ask that you bear the costs of any return shipments yourself. Please note that customs duties may apply in countries outside the European Union.
