SpeedBox 1.3 B.Tuning combines the proven SpeedBox 1.3 Tuning chip with the practical SpeedBox App, so you can benefit from numerous attractive additional features.
The core function of the tuning chip is, of course, removing the 25 km/h speed limit, allowing you to ride much faster with full motor assistance. Thanks to the app, you even have the option to set the assist speed to a custom value. You can also use the app to display various riding parameters, save routes, and monitor your performance.
Important note: The manufacturer recommends not exceeding a speed of 35 km/h to avoid error W011. For B.Tuning models, the maximum speed can be adjusted in the SpeedBox App adjust accordingly.
The connection between the app and the tuning chip is wireless via Bluetooth technology.
Please note:
After installing the SpeedBox 1.3 B.Tuning Chips, the e-bike display will only show correct values up to 23 km/h. However, you can easily get the correct data, such as the current speed, via the SpeedBox App. We therefore recommend attaching your smartphone to the handlebars while riding so that you have a clear view of all the data. brackets can be found in our shop.
Tuning can be switched on and off
You can easily turn the tuning on and off via the app or with the light switch on your e-bike. If the lights are off, the tuning is activated. If you turn the lights on, the tuning is deactivated.
A completely new feature in this version is the ability to activate the tuning via a double-click function in the app. Thanks to this feature, the lighting becomes completely independent of the tuning. Double-clicking the light button makes the lights flash and activates the tuning. Double-clicking again turns the tuning off, and the e-bike functions as if no tuning chip were installed.

To connect to the SpeedBox 1.3 B.Tuning Chip requires the mobile phone to be equipped with at least Bluetooth version 4.0 (or higher).
Installation
The SpeedBox 1.3 for Shimano EP8 is a module or chip that normally needs to be plugged into the E-Tube port of the motor. The version of the chip presented here (SpeedBox 1.3 B.Tuning for Shimano EP8 “+E-Tube Port”) is intended for models that do not have a free E-Tube connection.
The module is connected using the original connectors. With a little skill, you can install the tool yourself and uninstall it again if necessary.
Please note:
if you SpeedBox If you install the chip into a brand new e-bike, you must first ride the e-bike for at least 1 km before you start the tuning chip for the first time.

Installing an e-bike tuning chip in your e-bike may require special tools . Please check beforehand whether you need to open the motor compartment to access the motor's connectors. This applies particularly to products in the categories of modules , kits , dongles , and sensors.
If you don't opt for a tuning solution that requires installation in the engine compartment ( such as a tuning box or software ), you won't need the necessary tools. You'll find further tips in our guide .

Important information on tuning measures for e-bikes and e-scooters
We expressly point out that any modification to e-bikes and e-scooters – whether through hardware tuning (e.g. tuning chips, dongles, sensor adapters) or software tuning (e.g. apps, programs or USB tools) – can have consequences.
Tuning measures on e-bikes and e-scooters mean that they are no longer permitted for use on public roads as defined by the StVZO (Road Traffic Licensing Regulations). Legal use is therefore only possible on private property or - if permitted - in competitions. Riding an e-bike or e-scooter modified by tuning measures on public roads can lead to criminal liability for driving without a license (Section 21 of the Road Traffic Act) and driving without insurance (Section 6 of the PflVG). Tuning measures on e-bikes can lead to the loss of warranty rights and manufacturer guarantees. Furthermore, tuning measures can lead to the loss of insurance coverage and benefits from accident victim assistance in the event of an accident. The e-bike (or e-scooter) modified by tuning measures is subject to additional stress due to the higher speed, which can lead to safety risks.

Delivery time:
The processing time for physical products generally only begins after payment has been received . Within Germany, it usually takes 1–3 business days . In exceptional cases, processing may take up to 8 business days . Delivery times to other countries may vary.
Please note: You will only receive a DHL shipment confirmation once the shipment has been scanned for the first time at the parcel center. Only from this point onward will the shipment be trackable.
Due to high demand, ongoing incoming goods, or anticipated short-notice restocks, some products may experience longer processing times. We appreciate your understanding.
Note regarding digital products/license codes: License codes and license keys are not sent by mail, but by email . Processing begins only after payment has been received. Please note that instant bank transfers do not automatically result in a direct bank credit, and in some cases, credit card payments may also experience delays in payment reconciliation. The respective license code will then be generated and sent. This may take several hours in some cases. If you do not receive a license code, please always provide us with the order number in the format xxx-xxx-xxx.
For customers from Switzerland: For deliveries to Switzerland, we recommend a separate service.
Shipping:
Shipping costs for Germany are €4,90; shipping is waived for orders over €180. For countries within the EU, shipping costs are €12,90; shipping is waived for orders over €2.000. We currently do not ship to countries outside the EU. We also do not ship to the USA, France, or Canada (including any overseas territories). We ask that you bear the costs of any return shipments yourself. Please note that customs duties may apply in countries outside the European Union.
Minimum order value:
The minimum order value is €25. Only above this amount are advance payment, PayPal, and bank transfer available as payment methods.
Maximum order value:
The maximum order value for orders outside the EU is €1.000. The maximum order value within the EU is €12.500.
Payment in advance via bank transfer:
Please transfer the total amount, including your order number, to our account, which was communicated to you in the confirmation email. Please note that transfers within Germany can take up to three business days. Transfers from abroad, especially from Austria, usually reach us very quickly. Transfers from other countries can take slightly longer on average.
Payment in advance via Paypal:
At the end of the ordering process, you will be redirected to the PayPal page. There you can initiate your payment. Once the PayPal transaction is complete, your order status will change in the shop. The goods will then be shipped as soon as possible.
