Convenient e-bike tuning with a smartphone app!
With this third-generation tuning module, you can not only completely remove the 25 km/h limit, but also set the top speed to a desired value. Even with the tuning enabled, the e-bike display will continue to show the correct values.
In contrast to the “normal” version of the SpeedBox 3.2 is this “B.Tuning“ Variant with the practical SpeedBox App compatible, allowing you to benefit from numerous useful additional features (see below).
You can control the tuning either via the app or with the control buttons on your e-bike.
Advantages of the SpeedBox 3.2 B.Tuning at a glance

- Maximum speed can be individually adjusted: You can easily set the maximum assisted speed via the app. Alternatively, you can also set it manually: Switch the mode down three levels, then up three levels again. The current speed limit will then be displayed. You can now set the maximum speed by briefly pressing the LIGHT button or turning the rear wheel 360°. The last displayed speed limit will then be saved after 5 seconds of inactivity.
- Correct values in the e-bike display: Even with active tuning, the e-bike display shows correct values, e.g. maximum and average speed, range, daily distance, etc.
- Tuning can be switched on and off: You can SpeedBox 3.2 B. Activate/deactivate the tuning chip conveniently via the app or using the buttons on the e-bike display. Switch on the tuning by pressing the LIGHT button or + - + -. The display will then briefly show 99 km/h to indicate that the tuning has been activated and the speed limit has been lifted. Press the LIGHT button again to switch the tuning off. A brief display of 25 km/h then signals that the tuning has been lifted and the maximum assisted speed will once again end at 25 km/h, just as usual. Your e-bike will then function as if no tuning chip were installed.
- The SpeedBox 3.2 B.Tuning Chip does not require its own battery.
SpeedBox App
This version (“B.Tuning”) of the SpeedBox 3.2 tuning module can be connected via Bluetooth with the specially developed SpeedBox App This allows you, for example, to monitor your performance precisely. You can display extensive driving parameters and data on your smartphone, save individual trips and compare them with friends, etc. The SpeedBox The data displayed in the app is extremely accurate, as it's read directly from the e-bike's control unit. And the app has much more to offer.

Installation
Within the SpeedBox 3.2 is a module or chip that must be connected directly to the motor. Thanks to color-coded connectors, you can also install it yourself. When connecting the module, refer to the illustration "Installation Instructions Speedbox 3.2 for Bafang" (see below).
Of course you can SpeedBox You can uninstall the chip at any time if you want to restore your e-bike to its original state.
Important hints:
-If you have the SpeedBox 3.2 into a brand new Bafang e-bike, you must first ride the bike for at least 1 km before installing the SpeedBox Turn on the chip for the first time.
-If you want to update the software of your e-bike, you must first SpeedBox from the e-bike. Update the software and install the SpeedBox then again.
SpeedBox 3.2 B.Tuning for Bafang M200 / M410 / M500 / M510 - Compatibility
This tuning tool is compatible with e-bikes with Bafang Max Drive M200, M410, M500 and M510 drives with 8 pins on the speed sensor (Bafang M200, M410, M500 and M510 motors are in principle equipped with 8 pin connectors):

IMPORTANT: The SpeedBox 3.2 B.Tuning for Bafang is available with motors with the CAN protocol compatible, however CAN'T with motors using the UART protocol. The CAN or UART protocol can be distinguished by the shape of the connectors.
The first step is to unplug the display connector from your e-bike. The shape of the connector will tell you whether your e-bike uses UART or CAN communication.

Tools
To install an E-Bike tuning chip in your E-Bike it is sometimes special tools necessary. Please check previously whether you have to open the engine compartment to access the motor connectors. This is especially true for products from the Modules, Kit, Dongle and Sensor.
Normally (but not always) opening the engine compartment requires loosening the crank. To do this, you will need a Crank puller. Some engines also have a Spider Tool This is important for opening the lock ring on the chainring - because the chainring must be loosened here so that the motor cover can be removed to access the inside of the motor. If you want to replace the chainring (wear, change the gear ratio), you often need a Spider Tool. The necessary special tools can also be found in our shop. To remove the engine cover, you usually need a Torx or Allen key. For installing the modules, appropriate Pliers from the electronics sector.
Do you decide not for a tuning solution that you have to install in the engine compartment (Box, Software), there is no need for any tools. In our Guide you will find further tips.

Important information on tuning measures for e-bikes and e-scooters
We expressly point out that any modification to e-bikes and e-scooters – whether through hardware tuning (e.g. tuning chips, dongles, sensor adapters) or software tuning (e.g. apps, programs or USB tools) – can have consequences.
Tuning measures on e-bikes and e-scooters mean that they are no longer permitted for use on public roads as defined by the StVZO (Road Traffic Licensing Regulations). Legal use is therefore only possible on private property or - if permitted - in competitions. Riding an e-bike or e-scooter modified by tuning measures on public roads can lead to criminal liability for driving without a license (Section 21 of the Road Traffic Act) and driving without insurance (Section 6 of the PflVG). Tuning measures on e-bikes can lead to the loss of warranty rights and manufacturer guarantees. Furthermore, tuning measures can lead to the loss of insurance coverage and benefits from accident victim assistance in the event of an accident. The e-bike (or e-scooter) modified by tuning measures is subject to additional stress due to the higher speed, which can lead to safety risks.
