The SpeedBox 3.2 B.Tuning is a modern tuning solution with Bluetooth connectivity and app control for selected Giant SyncDrive drive systemsIt removes the factory-set 25 km/h speed limit and ensures that motor assistance is maintained even at higher speeds.
Unlike the standard version without the app, the B.Tuning variant offers significantly more convenience and additional functions. About the SpeedBox App You can conveniently control the tuning, view and save driving data, and use other additional functions.
A major advantage of this generation: Even with tuning activated, the e-bike display continues to show the correct information. correct values for example, current speed, range, daily mileage or average values.
The SpeedBox 3.2 B.Tuning replaces the older one SpeedBox 3.0 B.Tuning for Giant and has been further developed both functionally and technically.

Activation and deactivation
Activating and deactivating the tuning is particularly convenient via the SpeedBox App Possible. Alternatively, the module can also be controlled directly via the e-bike's controls.

Set maximum speed

Installation
The SpeedBox 3.2 B. Tuning is connected to the motor's plug connections – specifically at the Speed sensor cable connector as well as on Cable connector from the motor to the displayThe module is then installed under the engine cover and is not visible from the outside.
For installation, the crank, chain, and chainring must be temporarily removed. Then, the motor cover is removed and the motor is tilted slightly out of its mount to access the electrical connections.

To install an E-Bike tuning chip in your E-Bike it is sometimes special tools necessary. Please check previously whether you have to open the engine compartment to access the motor connectors. This is especially true for products from the Modules, Kit, Dongle and Sensor.
Normally (but not always) opening the engine compartment requires loosening the crank. To do this, you will need a Crank puller. Some engines also have a Spider Tool This is important for opening the lock ring on the chainring - because the chainring must be loosened here so that the motor cover can be removed to access the inside of the motor. If you want to replace the chainring (wear, change the gear ratio), you often need a Spider Tool. The necessary special tools can also be found in our shop. To remove the engine cover, you usually need a Torx or Allen key. For installing the modules, appropriate Pliers from the electronics sector.
Do you decide not for a tuning solution that you have to install in the engine compartment (Box, Software), there is no need for any tools. In our Guide you will find further tips.

Tuning measures on e-bikes and e-scooters mean that they are no longer permitted for use on public roads as defined by the StVZO (Road Traffic Licensing Regulations). Legal use is therefore only possible on private property or - if permitted - in competitions. Riding an e-bike or e-scooter modified by tuning measures on public roads can lead to criminal liability for driving without a license (Section 21 of the Road Traffic Act) and driving without insurance (Section 6 of the PflVG). Tuning measures on e-bikes can lead to the loss of warranty rights and manufacturer guarantees. Furthermore, tuning measures can lead to the loss of insurance coverage and benefits from accident victim assistance in the event of an accident. The e-bike (or e-scooter) modified by tuning measures is subject to additional stress due to the higher speed, which can lead to safety risks.
