If necessary, you can of course reduce the maximum speed at any time, e.g. to 20 or 25 km/h.

• Cruise control function (Cruise Control): When Cruise Control is activated, the scooter maintains its current speed after 10 seconds of constant acceleration. Applying the brake or accelerator deactivates the cruise control again.
• Simple Activation: Simply hold down the brake and power buttons for 2 seconds to activate the tuning (=remove the speed limit). Tuning can be deactivated in the same way. Alternatively, tuning can also be turned on and off via the app.
• By entering a password (4 digits) Tuning can be protected from unauthorized access. There's even the option to generate a secondary password for a second user.
• Set start mode: Start the e-scooter like a kick scooter, with one foot on the footboard while the other foot pushes off ("Non-Zero Start"). This mode can also be deactivated.
• Installation: All necessary adapters, cables, and other parts (display & controller) are included. No soldering is required; with a little patience and skill, you can easily install the conversion kit yourself (if you prefer, you can also have the installation professionally performed by a scooter repair shop of your choice).

Important features:

-"Set Battery Type" / "Battery Numbers"Note: Depending on the battery's specifications, it's possible to switch between 10 and 12 cell rows. When determining the number of cell rows, refer to the manufacturer's specifications (if in doubt, consult the battery manufacturer). An incorrect specification could affect the battery's lifespan or lead to other errors.

-Polar logarithm: The motor has magnets that must be synchronized with the motor controller to function properly. By default, there are 14 magnet pairs and 28 polarities, but this can vary depending on the motor type. Most models are compatible with this default setting, so you generally don't need to change it. However, if you change the number of magnets or polarities, you will also need to change the motor controller settings (refer to the user manual for more information).

-Self-learning function: Through the automated self-learning process, the SpeedMaster 365 controller determines the motor parameters of your e-scooter. Important: This process must be performed during the first use of the SpeedMaster! 

Proceed as follows:

• Make sure the e-scooter is turned off. Make sure the scooter is on a flat, stable surface.
• Press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds.
• The drive wheel starts to rotate slowly for a few seconds and then stops automatically.
• The wheel then rotates slowly in the opposite direction for a few seconds and then stops automatically.
• A beep indicates that the self-learning process is complete.

Installation

With the tuning kit from EdisonEvo by MountainTuning The original controller and display must be replaced with new elements, after which the engine is controlled by a very powerful unit. This makes the conversion kit more powerful than any conventional tuning chip. 

Speedmaster 365 installation instructions

1. In the area of ​​the footboard: Unscrew the battery cover
2. Disconnect the battery cable
3. Disconnect the cable from the controller
4. Unscrew and remove the controller
5. Replace the old controller with the SpeedMaster 365. Use the existing screws.
6. In the handlebar area: Remove the dashboard cover (e.g. with a cutter knife) and then loosen the screws on the circuit board.
7. Disconnect the 4 cables so that the circuit board can be removed.
8. Replace the old controller connection cable with the new cable from the kit (simply push it into the stem).
9. Connect the cables to the SpeedMaster controller. Make sure to connect the battery cable last.
10. Complete the SpeedMaster installation by connecting the dashboard socket.
11. Screw the dashboard back into its compartment and attach the cover.
12. The installation is now complete!

Important: This SpeedMaster 365 is a universal conversion kit for Xiaomi 4 1st-generation e-scooters and their clones. We've listed the most important and well-known versions here. These versions of the Xiaomi e-scooters approved in Germany can be optimized with this SpeedMaster 365 conversion kit: 

• Xiaomi 4 (1st generation) with 300 W motor
• Xiaomi 4 Essential (1st generation) with 250 W motor
• If you have a Xiaomi 4 2nd generation model or a Xiaomi 4 Ultra / Lite or a Xiaomi 4 Pro (Gen1 or Gen2), please choose this variant here.
• Various clones from other manufacturers (pay particular attention to the design of the display / display must be identical to the Xiaomi 4)
• Only compatible with motors with 10S (36V-42V) and 12S batteries (43.2-50.4V).
