With this ingenious tuning kit, you can get the absolute maximum out of your Xiaomi 4 Ultra – the e-scooter not only goes faster, but also more powerfully!
SpeedMaster Ultra has much more to offer than conventional tuning tools: Unlike common tuning chips, SpeedMaster Ultra is a complete conversion kit that requires replacing the old controller and display of your Xiaomi 4 Ultra e-scooter with completely new, significantly more powerful components.
Ultimately, the 20 km/h speed limit is completely lifted. Since the maximum power of the Xiaomi 4 Ultra motor is a very high 940 W, speeds of up to 40 km/h can be reached.
But thanks to the SpeedMaster Ultra, the scooter not only becomes faster, but also accelerates significantly more powerfully (up to 30 percent more power). Even inclines can be mastered more easily.
In short: With the SpeedMaster V4 Ultra tuning kit, you unleash the full potential of your Xiaomi 4 Ultra e-scooter. In terms of performance enhancement, conventional tuning chips can't compete with this conversion kit.
The tuning settings can be easily configured with the SpeedMaster 365 App (Google Play, soon also iOS).

-Easy activationYou can turn the SpeedMaster tuning on and off at any time using the controls on the e-scooter (hold the power button and brake for 2 seconds). Alternatively, you can also do it via the app.
-Cruise control function: If the "Cruise Control" function is activated, the e-scooter maintains its current speed after 10 seconds of constant acceleration, making long, steady rides much more comfortable. When the brake or accelerator is applied, the cruise control is automatically deactivated.
-Individual password: By entering a password (4 digits), you can prevent unauthorized users from using the tuning. If necessary, you can even generate an additional password for a second user.
-Non-Zero Start: With the optionally adjustable Non-Zero Start mode, the e-scooter can be started like a “kick scooter” – i.e. with one foot on the footboard while the other foot pushes off.
-Installation can be done by yourself: During installation, the old controller and display must be replaced with new Speedmaster components. All required components, cables, and connectors are included. nothing soldered so that you can carry out the conversion yourself.
-The display shows correct values, even with active tuning (current speed, etc.). It is important that the wheel diameter and the number of (motor) poles are entered correctly; otherwise, slight deviations may occur.
If necessary, the tuning kit can be removed at any time if you want to restore the scooter to its original condition.
Important note: If you want to achieve the strongest output power and the highest possible speed, you must first set the correct parameters via the APP (e.g. wheel diameter, number of motor poles, tire pressure, battery power).

Important hints:
-Please note that you are only allowed to ride a tuned e-scooter on private property and in areas outside of the road traffic regulations.
-"Set Battery Type" / "Battery Numbers"Note: Depending on the battery's specifications, it's possible to switch between 10 and 12 cell rows. When determining the number of cell rows, refer to the manufacturer's specifications (if in doubt, consult the battery manufacturer). An incorrect specification could affect the battery's lifespan or lead to other errors.
-Polar logarithm: The motor has magnets that must be synchronized with the motor controller to function properly. By default, there are 14 magnet pairs and 28 polarities, but this can vary depending on the motor type. Most models are compatible with this default setting, so you generally don't need to change it. However, if you change the number of magnets or polarities, you will also need to change the motor controller settings (refer to the user manual for more information).
-Self-learning function: Through the automated self-learning process, the SpeedMaster V4 controller determines the motor parameters of your e-scooter. Important: This process must be performed during the first use of the SpeedMaster!
Proceed as follows:
Make sure the e-scooter is turned off. Make sure the scooter is on a flat, stable surface.
Press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds.
The drive wheel starts to rotate slowly for a few seconds and then stops automatically.
The wheel then rotates slowly in the opposite direction for a few seconds and then stops automatically.
A beep indicates that the self-learning process is complete.

To install an E-Bike tuning chip in your E-Bike it is sometimes special tools necessary. Please check previously whether you have to open the engine compartment to access the motor connectors. This is especially true for products from the Modules, Kit, Dongle and Sensor.
Normally (but not always) opening the engine compartment requires loosening the crank. To do this, you will need a Crank puller. Some engines also have a Spider Tool This is important for opening the lock ring on the chainring - because the chainring must be loosened here so that the motor cover can be removed to access the inside of the motor. If you want to replace the chainring (wear, change the gear ratio), you often need a Spider Tool. The necessary special tools can also be found in our shop. To remove the engine cover, you usually need a Torx or Allen key. For installing the modules, appropriate Pliers from the electronics sector.
Do you decide not for a tuning solution that you have to install in the engine compartment (Box, Software), there is no need for any tools. In our Guide you will find further tips.

Important information on tuning measures for e-bikes and e-scooters
We expressly point out that any modification to e-bikes and e-scooters – whether through hardware tuning (e.g. tuning chips, dongles, sensor adapters) or software tuning (e.g. apps, programs or USB tools) – can have consequences.
Tuning measures on e-bikes and e-scooters mean that they are no longer permitted for use on public roads as defined by the StVZO (Road Traffic Licensing Regulations). Legal use is therefore only possible on private property or - if permitted - in competitions. Riding an e-bike or e-scooter modified by tuning measures on public roads can lead to criminal liability for driving without a license (Section 21 of the Road Traffic Act) and driving without insurance (Section 6 of the PflVG). Tuning measures on e-bikes can lead to the loss of warranty rights and manufacturer guarantees. Furthermore, tuning measures can lead to the loss of insurance coverage and benefits from accident victim assistance in the event of an accident. The e-bike (or e-scooter) modified by tuning measures is subject to additional stress due to the higher speed, which can lead to safety risks.
